Lostock Lodge provides residential and dementia care in a luxury setting, spacious lounges provide comfortable areas to relax and socialise. Fine dining is provided with waitress service and tea, coffee and drinks are available at any time.

Activity and wellbeing champions get to know residents individually; they support and encourage people to continue to enjoy their hobbies and interests. Everyday there is a range of meaningful activities for residents to enjoy, either in a group as a sociable activity or on a one-to-one basis. From reminiscing and games to light exercise, crafts, gardening or singing there is always something going on. Residents are able to take advantage of the cinema room, hairdressing salon, nail spa and gym.

Very friendly and helpful staff who have gone over and above our expectations. Extremely patient and attentive to all residents, and nothing is too much trouble. Everywhere within and outside the home is spotlessly clean and well organised. The home is very secure too, which puts our minds at rest.
The food too is very good, with a wide variety to offer.


All the residents are treated with dignity and respect.


On the whole, we couldn't have asked for a better care home for our Uncle to be taken care of.

Ability of dedication plus warm friendship shines through the activities co-ordinator at Lostock. Always understanding the resident's needs for some type of participation, he plays an important daily role and is held in high respect. His knowledge of skills includes help in technical advice on the use
of tablet/computer matters. A cheery word and happy smile are his hallmarks.

I have recently spent two weeks in Lockstock Lodge Care Home so that my wife could have s short holiday break and a rest. (She has a full-time carer's role looking after me as I am confined to a wheelchair). It is only natural to feel a little apprehensive when leaving the familiar surroundings of one's
own home but I found that being at Lockstock Lodge presented no problems as I was very well looked after and cared for by excellent staff.

After suffering a stroke, I needed to find somewhere for complete rest and recuperation. The place is Lostock Lodge. A place that obviously understands the meaning of care. Every member of staff treats you with respect and dignity and as though you were part of their family and from the word go, are
willing to accommodate your every need. I have only been here a few days, but first impressions count and I am sure by the time I leave fully refreshed and rested, I know that if the situation arose again, I can always return to this "family home".

As a family, we had looked at a number of care homes but after visiting Lostock Lodge on their open day we immediately knew we had found the right place for mum! The staff are caring, friendly, helpful and most importantly fun. Mum has settled in fantastically and has a new lease of life. Finished to
an extremely high standard the home has a lovely comfortable atmosphere. It is always difficult to place a parent into a care home but we know we have made the right decision- this home is second to none!
