Fernhill House, complete peace of mind.
The kindness shown by the staff towards Mum and the wish to put residents at the heart of their decision-making has been key in the ease in which Mum has moved from home care to full-time residency. Fernhill House has been so positive.
The staff have cared
for Mum with real kindness, from my point of view, the customer relations manager/team really went above and beyond to accommodate us, to which we are very grateful.
The facilities reflect that of a luxurious hotel. We very much appreciate how they were so welcoming to family and friends visiting.
All her medical needs are expertly handled, keeping the family updated with kind and thoughtful words. For anyone wanting a family member to be cared for and treated with kindness and dignity, I can't express how lovely Fernhill is and would be a lovely place to go to.

I cannot praise Fernhill House highly enough. They have gone the extra mile to ensure my mother's first month with them has been amazing. All the staff have been very caring and absolutely nothing is too much trouble for them. I have visited Mum every 2/3 days at varying times and can fault nothing.
Am delighted that such a traumatic time has been so marvellous for us all.

Sadly, my husband only spent 8 days in this wonderful home. Aged 90, he had previously spent nearly 3 months of trauma, in and out of hospital with a period of home care in between. He was in a bad way, with multiple conditions, but the care he was given here was exemplary. His constant, worried frown
disappeared, as he relaxed knowing he was safe and being well cared for. He passed away peacefully, with dignity. Not only that, but the care and attention given to me and the rest of the family was way beyond the call of duty. We were only sorry that he didn't recover enough to enjoy the facilities and activities on offer. An excellent experience, at a difficult time!

My father attended for a 2-week respite, 3 days before he was due to go back home he said he wanted to stay. The home is a lovely place, it's clean and cosy. The staff and residents are always smiling. The home is surrounded by love, you can feel and see the staff really care for the residents it's
not just a job to them. The residents are fully supported by their individual needs. I can't fault the place. My father is so happy there.

My mother has recently moved into Fernhill Heath Care Home. Both her, & the whole family have received such a lovely warm welcome from every single member of the staff there.
My mother has settled in really well thanks to the support, warmth & care that she receives. Nothing is too much trouble for

I have been coming to Fernhill House Care Home for seven months, twice a week. I have been visiting my friend and enjoying the entertainment and the fabulous company of staff and residents.
Fernhill House is like a home from home, it's very clean, cosy and full of laughter and fun.
My friend have
been very well looked after and I have felt very happy that she is always safe here and always happy.
Definitely the best care home in Worcestershire.

My dear friend was suddenly taken seriously ill and after a short, traumatic stay in A & E she returned to Fernhill House.
This was such a great relief, as the care she received was outstanding and she was surrounded by love until she died peacefully.
Her life at Fernhill for the past six months has
been full of fun, which outweighed the loss of independent living. Her other very close friend and I were cared for too by the wonderful staff. They are very special people!

My nan has recently returned from a two-week respite stay at Fernhill House, following a period in hospital. The home is lovely and lots is going on. She enjoyed being pampered and she was able to get her confidence back before going home.

The positive and purposeful cohesive environment made the residents we supported very happy. Although suffering from Alzheimer’s and vascular dementia and failing sight, she became the ‘life and soul of the party’ entering into all activities with gusto. Her general well-being improved and the progress
of dementia slowed. Unfortunately, a sudden illness resulted in accessing the emergency services of the hospital. Effective liaison between the hospital and home resulted in perfect end-of-life care being provided in the nursing wing of the home. There was huge empathy and compassion and the resident had a dignified and perfect death. The quality of care throughout the time our friend entered the home to the time of her death has been exceptional.

When my mother-in-law came to Fernhill House Care Home for respite care to bridge the gap between hospital discharge and returning to her own home, the team at Fernhill made the whole process smooth and simple. They factored in every little detail, from making sure her favourite puddings were on the
menu to catering for us to visit one afternoon for a ploughman’s lunch. The care staff were incredible and went above and beyond to the point of giving my daughter a tub of ice cream the night my mother-in-law was discharged to Fernhill late from hospital. The facilities reflect that of a luxurious hotel. It gave us complete peace of mind knowing that for a brief period, our vulnerable relative was safe and comfortable whilst we made alternative arrangements for her move back home. She was treated with the utmost respect and dignity at all times, not to mention how patient they were with her when she was struggling to adjust to her situation. For that, we, as a family, are extremely grateful.

I just wanted to drop a review to say a huge thank you to Fernhill House Care Home for looking after my mum before she passed. They helped prolong my mum's life and gave my children the opportunity to know her better and I will be eternally grateful for them for that. All the staff are incredible but
I have to single out two members of staff, in particular, for being there for Mum with all her needs and keeping me and my family updated with kind and thoughtful words. For anyone wanting a family member to be cared for and treated with kindness and dignity, I can't express how lovely Fernhill is and would be a lovely place to go to.

My mother has been under the care of Fernhill for a complete year now... through many management changes and under the time of the pandemic. We switched her status from "respite" over the Christmas period of 2021 to full-time resident. Fernhill's ability to create a "home" of dignity and professional
elder care with cheerfulness and positivity has been a true gift to our family. We all live very far away from the home, so we depend on everything that Fernhill House provides... whether that be immediate care for Mother or helping us understand and accept the inevitable sad stage of decline in the journey of dementia.

Fernhill House was the perfect choice of care home for my mum nearly five years ago when she first moved in. She felt as if she was staying in a luxury hotel and enjoyed a glass of sherry with her friends before lunch, loved the singing on a Sunday morning and always loved the meals. As she has grown
frailer, both mentally and physically, she has always been content and has even recently told me how lovely everyone is and that she has nice neighbours. The staff have cared for Mum with real kindness and maintained her dignity throughout. They have also been very supportive and kind to family members.

Until the day she passed away, My wife, Val's mother was a resident at Fernhill house. As POA, I looked after her affairs. The family cannot thank the staff at the home enough. It would be unfair to name individuals. But everyone from the management team, the office staff, receptionists, nursing staff,
carers, chefs, and housekeeping, hope I haven't missed anyone, were all caring, sympathetic and so supportive. They all contributed to Mum feeling loved, nothing was ever too much effort to make her days so comfortable. The family cannot thank the home enough.

My Name is Andrew and I am General Manager here at Fernhill House.


I have over 14 years of experience in managing residential and nursing Homes from 22 to 128 bedrooms.
I am delighted to welcome you to our fabulous home, set in beautiful surroundings with extensive grounds for all to enjoy. We offer residential, nursing and specialist dementia care in a warm and welcoming environment.
Fernhill House offers residents an all-inclusive exceptional package to include 24-hour care, all food & beverage for the resident and their family, hair, beauty & chiropody, private physio, lifestyle programme, regular events & entertainers, trips out in the minibus, TV, telephone and WIFI, daily in-house laundry service.
We have an amazing team ethos along with our residents that we see as our extended family.


Residents are able to live a meaningful and independent life and all aspects of our offering are person-centred.
I pride myself on understanding and being part of the Fernhill Team and I have a hands-on approach to management.

I have worked at Fernhill House for over 5 years.


I have worked in care for almost 15 years.


My favourite part of my job is getting to know all the residents and gaining additional grandparents!
I am the first point of contact for all residents who require dementia care.


I enjoy meeting residents before they move in, then I love to help them settle into the home.


I lead the teams on the Clover Suite here at Fernhill House.

Hello, my name is Victoria.


I have been with Fernhill House for almost three years.


I enjoy every day here as there is always something exciting going on.


I and the whole housekeeping team keep the home looking beautiful!


We love getting to know the residents and assisting them with their housekeeping requirements.


That could involve mending an item of clothing, tidying their wardrobes as well as taking care of their laundry.


I love spending time with each and every resident and helping them to make sure they get the best out of every day whether that is mending favourite items of clothing, tidying wardrobes or even just sitting and chatting with them.


Myself and the whole housekeeping team are committed to making Fernhill House the best place to live and enjoy every moment.
