Mum has been at Wisteria House since it opened last year. She is very happy there and is treated with respect and affection. The staff are wonderful, food is excellent, the house is bright and cheerful. I am fully relaxed knowing mum is being so well cared for. I have seen many residential homes and
this is the best without question! A real home from home with care, comfort, warmth and love.

I visit to see my Nan who is a resident here. I always find her happy which makes me happy too. The people who work there are always very friendly and welcoming and I can see how well they look after everyone. It doesn’t smell bad like Nans previous home did and the food looks like Its from a restaurant.
I really enjoy visiting Nan here and she enjoys living there.

Mum has been a resident at Wisteria for over 12 months and in all that time I have found the home, facilities and all the staff an absolute delight. It is quite unlike any other care home that I have experience of where the staff and residents are like one big family, the atmosphere is always one filled
with laughter and joy. I visit at least once a week, I never want to leave, such is the buzz of the place. The rooms are beautiful, brightly decorated and spotlessly clean, there’s a constant supply of high-quality food, drinks and snacks whenever anybody wants any. The residents are kept interested and made to feel worthwhile with a range of activities they can join in with, such as baking, gardening, crafts or even doing some of the staff's hair and makeup. I can honestly say that I don’t believe that we could have found a better place for mum anywhere.

I cannot rate this home more highly.
The staff and management are professional and sensitive.
Nothing is too much trouble.
The food has been excellent and been adapted to my father in law's needs.
In my opinion, my father in law couldn't have been in a better home.

Amazing is an understatement! I visit my great nan on a regular basis and every time I go it's a pleasure. It's always tidy and my aunt is well looked after there is always plenty for residents to do. I always feel welcomed and very comfortable when visiting.
There is a lot of different activities
going on which encourage the family to join in with. I could not doubt the home in any way, and could not thank them enough for caring and looking after my nan like they do. I never have to worry about her because she is always safe.

Excellent home from home support.
The level of love and attention given to my father is second to none.
Staff treat everyone with dignity and nothing is too much trouble.
Family are welcomed and invited to share in any food and drink.
To make dad more comfortable due to his height, a new longer
bed was purchased.
2 different reliner chairs were purchased to try for his comfort.
I cannot say enough to praise the managers and their team for the excellent, loving service they provide.

My wife and I received a warm welcome and were immediately aware of a happy atmosphere. The caring staff were very observant, and therefore aware of residents' needs. The bright decorations in all rooms, and around the gardens, added to the general uplifting ambience of the home.

This was the first visit to the care home - everything appeared well organised, clean, especially the toilet downstairs, all the people we saw/spoke to were looking well kept and content, due we assume to the care given by the staff.
Our friend was looking so well after only two weeks with the home,
in fact the best we had seen him for at least two months when he was either at home with care visiting him or in hospital.
Well done staff and management - excellent.

Since step-father-in-law has been a resident, his self-confidence has improved as also general alertness. this is entirely due to the ambience and great personal care by the staff. From my visits (3 - 4 per week) the home is very clean and tidy and nothing is any trouble.
On a 1 to 10, 9 or 10 is my
vote.

My mum has vascular dementia and moved into Wisteria House in April. We were so pleased to find a home where my parents could be together, dad moved in before her in March, and is more able. The home is beautiful and their own rooms are well equipped and very comfortable. The lounges are great with
space for quiet or to be involved in activities be it face-painting, pampering, music and singing, all sorts of games and much more!
The staff are wonderful - infinitely patient and caring and always with a smile. Nothing is too much trouble and they are all in the business of solving any queries or concerns however small. The key to their care is quality of life as a priority.
The food is good and there are snacks to be had at all times!
The home is clean, bright and welcoming.
I visit at all times of the day and I am always made welcome.
I feel very happy to know mum and dad are well cared for and looked after.
I would recommend this home to anyone!
All the staff without exception are super.

Both my parents moved to Wisteria House at the end of March. My mum has had Alzheimers for approximately 13 years and requires a lot of assistance. After one month, my mum appears settled and mostly happy in Wisteria House. I feel confident that staff are doing their best to understand and meet her
complex needs. Dad is more able and requires less care but have vocalised that he is satisfied with Wisteria House.
