Kirsty has worked in the care sector for over 20 years.
She has been registered manager at Wisteria House Plymstock since the home was refurbished and opened in 2017. Kirsty achieved a CQC outstanding award on first inspection.
Kirsty started working at our home at Stoke (Plymouth) and gradually worked her way through all roles within the care home becoming a registered manager then moved to our home at Plymstock when it opened.
Kirsty has achieved her LMS level 5 qualification as well as many more along the way.
Kirsty said ' I strongly believe in leading by example and love nothing more than to close the office door and join my staff team to provide excellent quality of life for those who live at Wisteria. I pride myself in being open, honest and transparent in all aspects of my role. I empower my staff team to support the residents to continue living a fulfilled and joyful life, what is great healthcare without happiness?'
