Northfield Care Centre is a nursing home located conveniently in the vibrant area of Thorne. The home is also near to local transport links and amenities and is next door to the Northfields Doctors Surgery.

Excellent facilities include an enclosed landscaped and grassed garden area for residents to enjoy, with fully equipped bathrooms, wet rooms, a hairdressing salon, TV room and a quiet/ relaxation room.

Staff are committed to providing the highest quality of care possible to residents and they are selected for their care experience and sense of compassion. The dignity and respect of individuals is promoted by the company and adhered to by staff at all times.

Care packages contain services which are tailored to the unique needs of the individual. Types of care range from dementia care and short stay respite breaks to registered nursing care.

The resident chef provides a daily menu of healthy and well-balanced meals, made from the finest ingredients available.

My mum went in for a few weeks respite, she has dementia so can't answer the questions. My mum loved every minute of her stay the staff were amazing with mum she has really come home a different person as she has seen lots of different faces. So pleased with everything. Mum is going back for a week
in September she made new friends. Thank you to all the staff.

Mum who is in this care centre on Amber Care needs 24/7 care. All staff are extremely caring and loving towards Mum. They talk to her all the time, she is bedridden and staff always popping in to check on her. Nothing is too much trouble, they are a lovely bunch of care workers. It gives me peace of
mind to know she is in this 5* establishment and being looked after the way she is.

I cannot praise this new home highly enough. My lovely dad who is very precious to us and sadly bed bound has been looked after by all the lovely staff with great care, compassion and respect. Nothing is too much trouble and although the care my dad receives is the most important thing to us, my dad's
bedroom is so pleasant, light airy and with lovely decor, we couldn't ask for more. A jewel amongst many of the other care homes.
