I started working in the care sector due to my personal experience of helping my family find care for my grandparents. This experience has been deeply impactful and has equipped me with the qualities needed to be a trustworthy and compassionate person to speak to. It has also fuelled my passion for providing the best possible care and support to residents and their families.
In my free time, I enjoy spending quality moments with my friends and family. We love going on new adventures, whether it is exploring new places, trying out new activities or simply enjoying each other's company. I have been working in the care sector for 23 years, taking care of residents in other care homes and supporting seniors in a domiciliary environment. I have an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, and I am currently on a leadership programme. I am also due to start a NAPA training course that focuses on person-centred activities and engagement in the new year.
I am a spiritual and creative individual, which I feel assists in my role. I am incredibly passionate about organising activities and events that enhance the day-to-day lives of our residents.
