So happy that dad is being so well cared for, here over a year now in Tonbridge House. Every single care worker is always so positive and forthcoming to dad's urgent requirements. Never a dull moment here, maximum effort maintained, and when something is needed to update or change, it is always pointed
out to me as soon as possible. Love everyone's engagement together, to always put a little smile on the resident's faces, no matter how difficult it can be.

Very impressed with staff friendliness and professionalism. Attention to detail first class, cleanliness of very high standard. Felt more like a holiday home than a care home. Special mention to a certain member of staff who kept us fully informed from day one.

My father was a resident at Tonbridge House for the last five months of his life. He had Vascular Dementia. I have the highest possible praise for the accommodation and staff at Tonbridge House. My father loved the food. His room was immaculate. The caring and nursing staff were empathetic and professional.
It was a massive weight off my shoulders when he moved in. Now that he has passed away I can look myself in the mirror and tell myself that I did the right thing.

We have been so impressed with Tonbridge House since we first visited, then the home assessment and the care my mother in law has been given since she moved in 6 weeks ago.
The kindness and consideration she has been given has been exceptional, and the friendliness and welcome for us has been lovely.

feel they know us and the rest of our family already and remember so many details about us all.

The welcome in coming to the home is exceptional and the staff are very caring and happy.
The food is all homemade and an exceptional standard of quality and nutrition.
It is a difficult thing to put your loved one into a home but this home is different - a real home.

My mother is extremely happy. She arrived directly from hospital for two months respite care.
But after a month she has decided to stay because she likes it so much. She is extremely well cared for; her medical needs and appointments are well managed by the nursing staff. The carers are all very good,
treat Mum with dignity and allow her to follow in her interests, such as supper in her room so she could watch the Wimbledon doubles final. They also take her into the garden where she loves to be. The meals are well presented and there is always a choice. We had a very happy family lunch in the dining room on Mum's birthday, this was a special day at a modest cost. There is always a hospitable welcome for visitors.

Hello, my name is Josh Pearmain, and I am the Client Services Manager here at Tonbridge House.


I have been working in the care industry for six years now. Tonbridge House is a very warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere to work in, and I love watching the team show genuine kindness and compassion to our residents.


My role is to give all the necessary information to anybody looking at care options and to help make the admission process as stress-free as possible. I enjoy meeting with families and discussing how we can best care for their loved ones and enable them to continue to lead an active and varied life once in our care.


Outside of work I enjoy most sports and am a regular at Tonbridge Angels football matches, although my preferred team are Brighton and Hove Albion! I also have a lively dog who I like to take on long walks with my wife.
