My mum has been at Elliott House for a couple of years now and we are more than happy with the care she receives there. All of the staff are lovely and seem to take pride in the work that they do.
My mum has been given a new lease of life there, she's happy and well looked after. She's always telling
us about the activities that she does and enjoys and the treats she has. She loves the pampering sessions and the high teas especially.
As a family, we are relieved that Mum is safe and well cared for. Thank you to all the amazing staff who put in so much care and warmth.

My mom who has dementia has been with Elliott House since October 2021. We have nothing but praise for all the staff and the outstanding care that is given to Mom. They are all friendly, caring, welcoming and treat all the residents with compassion and dignity. Her room is excellent, kept spotless,
with some of her own possessions. The home itself is bright, airy andwell-maintainedd. Activities are carried out daily including tai chi, Zumba, art, crafts, quiz and bingo. It wasn't an easy decision to place Mom in care, she had been in her home for over seventy years, we had looked round a number of homes, but something about Elliott House was right from the moment we were greeted at the front door and once inside it had the feeling of home. Highly recommend.

My mother, who has Dementia, was a resident at Elliott House from July 2018 - December 2018. She was taken to the home after it was found she could not live independently anymore and was placed at Elliott House as emergency respite care. During the period her decline was quite rapid, in disorientation,
depression, severe weight loss (she came in at 52kg and left weighing 42kg), two serious bouts of Pneumonia and the boiler had broken which resulted in her being in a cold bedroom as well as the overall, constant changing space around my mum and other residents - the home was having serious renovations which meant there was no outdoor space for residents. The carers work hard but overall we had a negative and traumatic experience. Thankfully she has settled somewhere else and is happier. We were naive when looking for a care home, we were told by management if we move her - she could get worse but that was not the case.

I visited my ex-partners mother in here tonight and was highly impressed.The home has a lovely homely feeling and very welcoming, the staff are lovely. I have visited lots of care homes in Birmingham and this one is outstanding I would highly recommend.
