Clarendon House is located in the heart of Buckingham town centre, close to amenities and at the centre of the community. With care and support facilities being taken to a new level, a real ‘Home from Home'.

The home offers a luxurious environment with a range of superb features and facilities where residents can find a vibrant community and enjoy a busy and active lifestyle, or can chose that relaxing, quiet and tranquil setting alongside the river and park, on the door step.

Clarendon House has 61 spacious, Classic or Premium bedrooms to choose from, all with en-suite wet rooms and tastefully designed and furnished with Wi-Fi access throughout. From the Stow Garden café and bar, you access the beautiful roof top terrace, where you can sit and enjoy a beverage of your choice. A private dining room is available to residents and families wanting to celebrate their loved ones birthdays or a special occasion.

Other facilities include Chandos Cinema, Waterlily Hair Salon, Snowdrop treatment room where you can relax and enjoy a bit of papering. On the ground floor, the Thompson Bar and Bistro has fresh cakes made daily by the experienced catering team.

Clarendon House has three floors of accommodation
Candleford Suite - Situated on the ground floor where residents are able to socialise with likeminded company and build and maintain friendships. Secure in the knowledge that there is 24-hour care and support to maintain independence.
Charters Suite - The memory impairment facility providing accommodation that has been tastefully and sympathetically designed to offer a safe, secure and stimulating environment for people who may have varying degrees of memory impairment.
Juniper Hill Suite - Comprises of well-appointed bedrooms all with en-suite where residents may have nursing requirements. For those residents who wish to have a little more room there are two superior suites available on this floor.

We could not have picked a better place for Dad. All of the staff are lovely and he is well looked after, the meals are very very good. We feel so relaxed as a family that Dad is being well cared for.

Absolutely wonderful! During our search for a suitable residence for my mum, we viewed other care homes and became totally disheartened until we walked through the doors of Clarendon House and were amazed by the ‘wow’ factor, like a luxury hotel. The accommodation and facilities are second to none,
the staff are like family and I can’t rate them highly enough, nothing is too much trouble. The atmosphere is friendly and there is always lots of laughter. Mum has made friends and settled quickly and can’t wait to show her visitors around as everyone is always so impressed by the surroundings. More than anything she is happy and I take great comfort in knowing that she is being so well looked after.

Outstanding. I can’t recommend this care home enough. Wonderful setting and facilities. Staff are incredibly caring and supportive and make you feel part of the Clarendon family. Nothing is too much for them they are a credit to the home. My mother-in-law has improved both mentally and physically since
moving in here. She has made so many friends and is always taking part in the many activities they have available. She is encouraged to be as independent as she can which has helped in her mobility and she’s certainly enjoying the wonderful food! It’s also lovely to see the pictures and stories on social media of what the residents have been doing it makes our day to see their smiley faces and enjoying their golden years, it’s very precious.

My mum has been a resident since April 2022. Since my mum has been there, she has blossomed and is more independent, which is lovely to see. I am so pleased with the care she has received and when I visit sometimes with my dad, we feel very welcome.

One word sums up Clarendon House.....Amazing!
I have seen a lot of care homes in the local area and Clarendon House is second to none.
The way in which my friend was welcomed into the home was wonderful thanks to the due diligence of the day staff.
The senior carer in particular was so kind and
considerate to my friend's needs. It felt like she has known my friend and been looking after her for years!
It is so nice to visit my friend and see all of the residents together watching a film (in the lounge or fabulous cinema room), eating lunch in the dining room or out in the town on an escorted visit.
You really do get a feeling of belonging and family when you visit Clarendon House.

Wow, Clarendon House Care Home is a brilliant home. I went to visit a friend and all the staff have been very inviting/welcoming to me. Everyone I interacted with was understanding, patient and accommodating. I took a tour around the home and it was amazing, so many facilities. I particularly loved
the cinema and salon. Spacious rooms and multiple social areas.
The home is easily accessible.
I had such a pleasant experience and so happy my friend is cared for by wonderful staff.

My mum moved into Clarendon House Care Home a couple of weeks after it opened. She felt at home immediately, making use of the facilities and getting to know some of the other residents. The food is excellent which is a real bonus for Mum. She is taking part in the activities, including getting out
