Thank you to the wonderful carers and staff at Mountview. It is a superb care home.
The carers are excellent and they look after my mum like she is a member of their family. They are all thoughtful and kind and treat her with respect and dignity.
The team of carers are always the same and my mum
recognises them and looks to them for her needs to be met. The carers provide a calm and loving atmosphere.
I could not wish for a better home for my mum. I am very grateful my mum came to Mountview.

Mum often says she wants for nothing. All the staff are caring and friendly and Mountview is clean and beautifully presented without being in the least bit clinical. It is always a pleasure to visit and words can't express the peace of mind we have knowing that Mum is so well looked after.

Mum continues to have the best time at Mountview! She has really made it her forever home, and she loves the social side and all the lovely activities. The staff are genuinely very caring, and her room is always homely and clean. The administration is extremely well run, and we are kept informed about
all the activities that are going on each week and are always welcome to join in. The food is excellent, and Mum has never yet been offered anything that she hasn't said was delicious. She looks forward to mixing with her friends in the restaurant area at mealtimes, but equally, she is able to stay and eat in her room if she is ever feeling a bit under the weather. We are so happy that we made the decision to move Mum up from Dorset to live closer to us in such a wonderful environment. I honestly do not think we could have found a better home from home for her.

The home is always well maintained and the staff are so friendly, caring and helpful. The atmosphere at the home is so nice to experience and proof of this is the happy faces of the residents, including my mother.

I visited some friends who've recently moved in. I was very impressed by the staff, the cleaning and escorting they did and their friendly and polite manner. The place looks more like a hotel than a care home. I liked the small seating areas which offer private chats outside of the bedroom. The wide,
carpeted halls and corridors and the ground entrance area. Ten out of ten. I've been in many care homes but Mountview compares so well.

The home is always so warm and welcoming. The staff are truly dedicated to their job. Mountview has given my mum a lovely place to be and she has formed great friendships with staff and other residents. The home always looks so beautiful. They celebrate every festival with a huge amount of effort and
relatives are invited to join in with this. A wonderful care home, thank you.

A superb care home in every regard. The home is very well run and all the staff are amazing. I was worried about Mum going into a home when she first had her stroke but I have no worries at all. The home is very clean, the facilities are superb and Mum is extremely well cared for in every way. Although
Mum spends a lot of time in her room, the staff are always popping in to make sure she is ok. She loves the home and staff and is treated with the utmost respect, dignity and friendliness at all times. A huge thank you to everyone.

Beautiful, home, very clean. Not enough staff, never anyone to say what Mum had been doing? Did she shower? Eating? Phone not answered. As mum has vascular dementia she couldn't explain properly how she had been helped. She lost one of her private hearing aids. Didn't seem to have any washing done.

My father was so reluctant to look at care homes as had always lived independently. After staying at Mountview, initially for two weeks respite, his attitude changed dramatically. He is now a permanent resident and enjoying life at 95 years young, and it is wonderful to see him enjoying life again.

It is always a pleasure to visit my mother in this home. The carers are always helpful and nothing is too much trouble.
The management team are approachable and very kind.

All the care staff are always so kind and happy and caring. As a visitor, you are always made to feel very welcome. Mum has lived at Mountview Care Home for almost 4 years. Throughout that time she has enjoyed the comfortable and caring environment which has kept her mind and body healthy. In particular there is always stimulation with daily activities that help keep her mind as active as her age allows. All the
staff seem to genuinely care about mum and never hesitate to guide and assist. The management are always helpful in my communication and dealings and remained positive throughout Covid challenges.

Mum always seems happy and well cared for when I visit. She and the other residents enjoy that I can bring my dog in. Lots of other residents enjoy seeing the dog.
Recently the home has engaged a gardening firm to look after the grounds. The guys do a super job which is appreciated by residents and
visitors.

I cannot believe the change in my mum since she’s been at Mountview Care Home - only since February. She looks very happy and it’s good to see her laughing again. The staff are amazing, cannot fault how they are taking care of her and so pleased that the carers have managed to get my mum to leave her
room for lunch and activities as she can be reluctant to join in with anything. Well done to all staff and for all your hard work.

I have always received a warm welcome on my arrival. Mum always looks happy and well cared for. She loves the food and is saying that her skirts won't fit her soon! She always walks with the frame to the dining room to participate in one of the planned activities. She always enjoys eating meals with
the other residents in the dining room. Thoroughly recommend Mountview Care Home.
