COVID-19 visiting: to minimise the risks of infection to residents and staff and other visitors, the home have put restricted visiting in place. The home have created an area in the garden where residents can meet their visitors, safe from the elements. The visits are by appointment only. Visitors must ring the home in advance to give staff ample time to organise this.
Rules to follow:
1) Only visit during the allocated time slot
2) Only 2 visitors at a time,
3) Visitors must wear a face mask and maintain social distancing whilst visiting,
4) Limit visits to 50 minutes maximum, to allow others to visit as well,
5) Meal times remain protected and the home ask that visits or phone calls are not made at these times.
Exceptions to these visiting rules, will only be allowed in special circumstances e.g. if someone is poorly or receiving End of Life Care and after discussion with the Home Manager.
Ambika Lodge may review the access to the home if the guidance from the Government changes .
There is parking on site for visitors at the front and side of the building. Please park sensibly and avoid blocking access and egress to the car park on the side of the building.
