I found most things satisfactory except in the wet room it was necessary to ask for a seat and grab rail. For me, the bed was a bit high. Although there are many armchairs, I found it hard to find a comfortable chair with a high back. Also, all the cushions were very bulky and hard.
Also, there should
be more exercise activities.

The facilities at Elton House are beautiful, from the rooms through to all the amazing facilities. More importantly, though all the staff are wonderful, kind, thoughtful and extremely patient, especially with my mother. They treated Dad with great care and dignity when he passed away and I will always
be grateful for this. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a warm, friendly and beautiful environment for their parent's care.

The care home is clearly very well organised and managed. Communication is clear and prompt in relation to all enquiries. Whenever we have raised specific issues or points in relation to our mother, the care home staff have been both helpful and very accommodating. This has been very important during
these first weeks of residence for our mother.


Further to this, and most importantly, the positive change for our mother since she has been in residence has been so clear and obvious for all her family and visitors to see. Having said for many years that she would not wish to go into a care home, having lived independently for a long time, our mother within a few days decided that she was so happy and secure with her new environment that she wanted to stay long-term.

Competent, professional staff from concierge to carers to management, so very helpful and informative when we looked to and did move Mum from another care home. Luxurious rooms and bathrooms. Public areas are like a 5-star hotel. Mum is so much happier!

I would like to express on behalf of our family how grateful we are to all the staff at Elton House (and we mean all in every department) for welcoming our mother and settling her into her new environment.
I am a registered nurse and wish to convey the professionalism and excellent standard of care
and communication we have observed/experienced.
This is from the moment I visited to make an enquiry to present day 5/10/18
Within two weeks of moving into Elton House, our mother is now off sedatory medication. She is more communicable, cheerful and mobile.
A pleasure to see and we feel she is in a safe and very caring environment.
