Located next to its beautiful namesake, Hesketh Park Lodge offers an ideal home setting that provides a range of dementia and nursing care services.

Providing both long and short-term care, the home also has rehabilitation facilities for those making the transition from hospital to home and offers respite care.

With 79 bedrooms, Hesketh Park Lodge provides a community setting where residents can benefit from high-quality care that is tailored to their individual needs. Hesketh Park Lodge has been specially designed to improve residents’ quality of life, through mobility and experience.

The Lodge is equipped with high-quality furnishings and fittings throughout. Each bedroom comes with an adjustable profile bed, call bell system, flat-screen TV, wireless internet access, ensuite wet room and telephone, at an added cost.

Hesketh Park Lodge has a range of facilities including comfortable lounges, a health & beauty salon and there is also a cinema room where residents can watch their favourite films. Friends and family are always welcome and each lounge includes a kitchenette so residents and visitors to make teas and coffees at any time!

Hesketh Park Lodge understands the importance of a well-balanced and nutritious diet and therefore, a carefully selected team produces home-cooked meals onsite daily. Crafted with care and attention, the menu incorporates resident’s preferences and cultural or dietary requirements. Friends or family can join residents at mealtimes if there have been prior arrangements.

The Lodge has their very own in-house Lifestyle and Wellbeing team is dedicated to making their residents’ home a happy, vibrant and fun place to live! With daily schedules filled with in-house activities that often take place in the communal lounges, there is something fun going on around every corner!

Almost 1 year to the day since Mum moved into Hesketh Park Lodge and the quality of care is still as good, if not better.
Mum has built a good rapport with both fellow residents and staff and seems truly happy in her new(ish) home.

I have always had the common thought of "dreaded care homes" but this couldn't be further from what Hesketh Park Lodge is.
Clean - very much so. Fantastic staff. Great food and activity.

Really lovely, friendly and helpful staff who show great care to the residents. The home itself is beautifully finished and kept clean and fresh. There are a number of activities for the residents to keep them occupied which makes leaving relatives a lot easier with the knowledge they are looked after
and cared for.

Superbly professional and caring. Made a difficult process much easier for the family and mum. Always feels very warm and welcoming, like another home from home. Very clean and fabulous food. The best place I would want mum to be.

It was an extremely difficult decision to put my mother into care after her living with me.
I looked at many homes but could not have placed her anywhere else and had the peace of mins I have with Hesketh Park Lodge. Staff have been fantastic and helped mum settle quickly. She is kept busy with the
wide range of activities and is proud to welcome visitors to such a clean and well-presented home. Food too is very good, especially the cakes.

Following an accident at home when I broke one ankle and badly injured my other foot, I needed some respite care. I spent two weeks being cared for at Hesketh Park Lodge. I cannot speak highly enough of the standard of care I received. The staff were wonderful, very caring and attentive. The home itself
is run to an extremely high standard and the food was very good. I would not hesitate to recommend Hesketh Park Lodge to anyone.

I cannot offer more praise to the home manager, deputy home manager, the two senior carers and all the team at - Hesketh Park Lodge.
The team are all so welcoming, friendly and caring.
Nothing is too much trouble for them. They offer a wide range of activities for everybody. Now that more floors
are open; there is truly a community feel to each floor, each with its identity and team of caring, friendly, helpful staff - and staff who really do care!

Mum came in for two weeks' respite after falling and breaking her leg and damaging the other foot.
The staff are lovely, mum has been looked after 24 hours. The care is excellent.

This care home is the most pleasant one I have been to. The surroundings are beautiful and homely. I particularly like the attention given to the residents instead of them sitting like zombies. They are encouraged to keep busy as much as they are able to and an improvement in their mental welfare is
obvious. My relative has improved physically and mentally since she entered the home and appears to be much happier there since she left her previous home. Hats off to everyone.

Job Title: Lodge Service Advisor

Joined: 2021

Having worked in the care sector now for more than 15 years in various roles, the most fulfilling role has to be working with prospective residents, their family or their representatives. I find it most rewarding in helping to find the most suitable care home that will endeavour to meet the care needs of each new resident, along with show casing and promoting the many superb facilities each individual care home has to offer.


My main duty is just by being there every step of the way, helping to support families to take away some of the stress of trying to find the right care home for their loved one.


In my spare time I love nothing more than walking my cockapoo, travelling to different counties within the UK and visiting different countries to sample the different restaurants, sightseeing and experiencing different cultures, but most importantly spending quality time with family and friends.
