Welcome to Grosvenor Manor; a lovely and luxurious care home located in the historic city of Chester. Grosvenor Manor is a purpose-built 81 bed ‘new generation’ care facility that has been expertly designed to meet all current CQC requirements and provides the highest standards of safety, comfort and care.

The care home offers residential, nursing and specialist dementia care.

Internally, the attention to detail is impressive. The high specification and décor of Grosvenor Manor have been carefully considered by an interior designer, creating stylish yet comfortable and practical spaces for residents to enjoy.

Arranged over two floors, the facilities at Grosvenor Manor are exceptional, with each floor enjoying its own communal lounges and restaurants. All bedrooms boast en-suite wet rooms, and there is also a spa assisted bathroom, hairdresser & nail bar.

There are beautiful, mature gardens and outside seating areas at Grosvenor Manor along with extensive terrace areas to the first floor.

The quality of care provided by Grosvenor Manor is second to none. The care and consideration that they have shown towards my mum over this challenging period have been superb. They treat their residents as if they were their own. They have made the home as covid secure as possible, yet have maintained
a quality of life for the residents throughout, with a host of activities and entertainment, all provided by the staff, to keep everyone going. They have responded to the undoubted impact on my mum's dementia from the covid restrictions, giving her a superb level of consideration and care, and have kept in touch and kept me fully informed at all times. They always have a smile and a chat when you drop something in for her. They have enabled safe visits within the bounds of what is practical and possible. I can't thank them enough. My mum could not be in better hands.

This is my ninth visit to see my Dad at Grosvenor Manor. On every occasion, I have been delighted by the kindness shown to both Dad and those of us visiting, and I’ve felt incredibly reassured and encouraged by the level of care my Dad is clearly receiving. Dad is so much healthier now than when he
arrived, and the main thing is that he’s so happy; his happiness is my top priority, and I’d say that it’s Grosvenor Manor's top priority too. Residents’ genuine happiness proves the home to be excellent as happiness cannot be bought or faked, and happiness for my Dad means happiness for his loved ones, so we are hugely grateful.

As a frequent visitor, I see how caring the staff are to residents. I appreciate the respect and personal attention given to my friend. I was very well looked after by the carers. The room was very comfortable and everything was very accessible. The bathroom and shower were excellent. There was plenty to eat and drink and lovely homemade cakes and frequent cups of tea on offer. I made many friends and enjoyed the very full and varied
programme of activities. All staff were extremely kind.

Since my mother-in-law moved into Grosvenor Manor almost two years ago, the care and support she has received has been excellent. The staff are lovely, kind, caring and empathetic and treat everyone as individuals. The environment is superb, more like a hotel than a care home. To summarise, Grosvenor

A superb care home, always spotlessly clean, and full of experienced, caring, enthusiastic and energetic staff for whom nothing is too much trouble.
The facilities are excellent, with lots of varied activities, good food, and they are very relaxed about relatives visiting at any time.
The quiet internal
garden is brilliant, the frequent visits from local children make the residents so happy, and we love the regular appearances of the petting animals - dogs, shetland pony, parrots etc.

I immediately liked the building design and approach to the entrance. The security is excellent.
Very welcoming from staff on duty and smiling.
The building is very airy and not cluttered.

A wonderful 100th Birthday Party celebration was arranged for Mum in December. She thoroughly enjoyed her tea party with other residents. The staff were extremely helpful in facilitating a family party as well.

We attended a 100th Birthday celebration for our Grandmother and were incredibly pleased to see such caring staff looking after her, as well as the quality of facilities.
The staff went out of their way to make sure our Grandmother had a lovely day.

My husband had advanced dementia and prostate cancer. He came to Grosvenor Manor Care Center in August 2019, and the care he received was outstanding. I could not fault the Grosvenor Manor team.
My husband had been in a previous care home where I was far from satisfied. The contrast between the two
was amazing, I am so glad he came here.
The staff were always polite, respected his and the families dignity, very caring, nothing is too much trouble, and always with a smile.
My husband died here, we the family were looked after by the staff as well as him. He looked clean, tidy, fresh and well cared for throughout this difficult period; they could not have done more. The staff were reassuring to him and us. I never feared that the staff might forget his needs; all were happy. I could not recommend the home highly - wish there were more like this.
He died in peaceful surroundings.

Came here to see Grandma and the staff had set up surprise afternoon tea for Mum's birthday. Everyone was so accommodating and friendly and all the residents seem happy and want to talk. My Grandma is so much happier here than she was in her last home and the conditions are impeccable.

All the staff are incredible. I cannot fault the care they provide.
Mum has been at Grosvenor Manor for 2 weeks. The staff have been so lovely and welcoming.

I have been visiting an ex-neighbour of mine who moved into Grosvenor Manor around June 2019. On every occasion the staff have impressed me with their genuinely outstanding care and consideration for their residents. They manage to combine thorough professionalism with obvious, deep affection for their
residents, and offer unconditional patience, gentleness, understanding and commitment to those in their care. I am glad my friend is in such good hands.

I’ve worked as a nurse for over 40 years in a variety of roles I thoroughly enjoy working in care homes. As a nurse, you can build relationships with the people you’re caring for and their families in a way that’s just not possible in a hospital setting where people come and go. I love the fact that we’re making a big difference to people’s lives and we get to see the evidence of that. It’s a privilege to be working for an excellent provider in Grosvenor Manor Care Centre, New Care. I’m passionate about delivering high quality care to each resident and supporting the staff in their careers within the health care sector.
