Welcome to Grosvenor Manor; a lovely and luxurious care home located in the historic city of Chester. Grosvenor Manor is a purpose-built 81 bed ‘new generation’ care facility that has been expertly designed to meet all current CQC requirements and provides the highest standards of safety, comfort and care.

The care home offers residential, nursing and specialist dementia care.

Internally, the attention to detail is impressive. The high specification and décor of Grosvenor Manor have been carefully considered by an interior designer, creating stylish yet comfortable and practical spaces for residents to enjoy.

Arranged over two floors, the facilities at Grosvenor Manor are exceptional, with each floor enjoying its own communal lounges and restaurants. All bedrooms boast en-suite wet rooms, and there is also a spa assisted bathroom, hairdresser & nail bar.

There are beautiful, mature gardens and outside seating areas at Grosvenor Manor along with extensive terrace areas to the first floor.

A newly built with excellent facilities, Grosvenor Manor has a justified excellent first-class reputation. The staff are just loved and there are interesting daily activities for residents with visitors just as welcome.

I have been visiting an ex-neighbour of mine who moved into Grosvenor Manor around June 2019. On every occasion the staff have impressed me with their genuinely outstanding care and consideration for their residents. They manage to combine thorough professionalism with obvious, deep affection for their
residents, and offer unconditional patience, gentleness, understanding and commitment to those in their care. I am glad my friend is in such good hands.

I feel very reassured to know that Mum is in such good caring hands. I am very impressed by Grosvenor Manor and all staff seem cheerful and very caring. The staff always make any visitors that visit mum extremely welcome, and nothing is too much trouble. It is a 10/10 from me!

I cannot praise Grosvenor Manor enough. The building, gardens and rooms are of excellent quality, clean, comfortable and attractive. The staff are wonderful. They are caring, warm and friendly, whilst being very attentive to the needs of each resident, taking time to get to know their interests and
preferences. My husband settled in immediately and is joining in with the many and varied activities in a way I could not have imagined. The atmosphere is happy and visitors warmly welcomed and included.

From the moment I set foot inside Grosvenor Manor, I was made to feel extremely welcome. From the little touches like being offered a drink, to the numerous greetings from staff, to the constant supply of sweet treats, it felt like being in a 5-star hotel. My partner and I found Grosvenor Manor for
his dad. He is so well looked after and we can go home and not worry because the standards of care are outstanding. Every member of staff does an exceptional job.

Both of my parents have been cared for at Grosvenor Manor since it opened in April 2018. My father spent 6 wonderful months there and my mother almost a year. During that time we have been truly overwhelmed by the wonderful, caring, kind and supportive staff. We feel so blessed to have had them care
for our parents and in our difficult times, they have shown our family such support that words can’t express our thanks to them. We feel as though each and every one of the staff has become part of our family. Whilst the decor, rooms, gardens, food and cleanliness are all outstanding, their greatest asset is the warmth shown by all the staff from the moment you walk in. Whilst sadly our parents are no longer with us, we still intend to remain in contact and pop in for a coffee and join in whatever activities we can do! Thank you for everything you did for my mum and dad. We have such special memories of the last year. What an amazing place with truly the most wonderful staff.

All the staff are very kind and helpful. The surroundings are lovely. All the lounges and dining room and bedrooms are spotless. Food is of a very good quality with a lot of variety. The activities staff are amazing and keep the residents entertained.

Grosvenor Manor is amazing. The decor and facilities are like a high standard hotel but much more importantly the individual care given to each resident is fantastic. Staff continually strive to keep residents happy by responding to their different interests. There are many and varied activities and
the food is also of a high standard.

My wife is unable to live on her own and has been admitted to Grosvenor Manor to allow me to recover from a minor procedure.
From the initial enquiry and assessment to admission, the management and staff have been professional, courteous and caring.
I feared that my wife would be distressed but my
fears were unfounded. The friendliness of the staff and the caring approach soon allowed my wife to settle into the routine of life at Grosvenor Manor to the extent that she can rarely be found in her room. I must add that, normally a faddy eater, my wife has found the meals very tasty and the portions manageable.
On a personal note, it is very comforting to me to know that if I was to pass away before my wife that she would quickly settle into Grosvenor Manor on a permanent basis.

Before mum moving into Grosvenor Manor we had looked at lots of care homes. From the minute we walked into Grosvenor Manor the atmosphere was extremely apparent. Everyone smiled and said hello, staff stopped what they were doing to introduce themselves and tell us what their role was. The feel was welcoming
and relaxed with staff and residents alike smiling and looking happy. The building itself is new but also looks cared for. It is beautifully furnished but at the same time feels homely and not somewhere where you have to stand on ceremony. As a relative of a resident, I am always made to feel extremely welcome and a part of the 'Grosvenor family', nothing is ever too much trouble and the staff go to great lengths to ensure that mum feels that their home is her home. Mum never has a bad word to say about anyone or anything at Grosvenor Manor and believe me she has high standards! A fantastic place to be, I hope it has free places when I need it.

I first visited Grosvenor Manor in the Spring 2018, when my father in law and mother in law took up residence.
I was very impressed with the quality of the furnishings and decor. Five-star standard, complemented by five-star staff who genuinely cared for their residents.
I was confident they were
in good hands and that has proved to be the case.

I have lived here for 7 months and am very happy. I chose to come here after reviewing several other care homes in this area. It is a great place, so beautifully decorated and furnished. The staff are polite and have proved to be extremely efficient in addition to being very friendly and helpful at
all times. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable, each being en-suite. It is a joy to be able to be given a shower each morning. We have wonderful activities organised by 2 leaders at each morning and afternoon and lots of evening entertainment.

I came here on 2 weeks respite but it only took one day for me to decide that I wanted to make it my home. It is a very pleasant environment, friendly efficient staff and I have made some good friends. Family feel, very welcoming and all think that my health has improved. We have some very good activities

I’ve worked as a nurse for over 40 years in a variety of roles I thoroughly enjoy working in care homes. As a nurse, you can build relationships with the people you’re caring for and their families in a way that’s just not possible in a hospital setting where people come and go. I love the fact that we’re making a big difference to people’s lives and we get to see the evidence of that. It’s a privilege to be working for an excellent provider in Grosvenor Manor Care Centre, New Care. I’m passionate about delivering high quality care to each resident and supporting the staff in their careers within the health care sector.

I am responsible and accountable for the management of the clinical area in the home. Establishing the timely provision of care by ensuring that effective supervision, assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care is done to a high standard. Ensure that the home’s policies and procedures are followed, in accordance with relevant legislation, to meet residents’ needs in a person-centered way. Assisting Home Manager with day-to-day management of the home ensuring New Care’s continued compliance with relevant legislation. I always have had a passion for delivering high standards of care. For my new role the main aspirations are centered around skill enhancement and constant growth to deliver the very best person-centered care. I am ready for new challenges and would like to improve my management skills in order to achieve my full potential. Job Title: Head of Care

I have 35 years experience of working in care. My background is nursing care working in Hospitals and also Nursing homes. I worked as a Clinical Support worker for the NHS and following this I managed a Complex care unit where I also trained and taught staff how to care for tracheostomy and ventilator care with spinal injuries and acute brain injuries. I have worked for New Care at Grosvenor Manor since 2020 and I can honestly say this is where I have learnt and have seen patient centred care that is given to the highest of standards. I am excited to now be able to join the management team at Grosvenor Manor as Head of Care to support our Home Manager, our excellent wellbeing team and our dedicated teams of care staff and Team Leaders. I am proud to be the Head of Care at Grosvenor Manor and to now be part of the management structure of such an amazing team. I am a caring and compassionate hardworking person and totally dedicated to providing excellent care to all residents.

I’m married to Stephen who is an amazing support to me, we have four beautiful Granddaughters of whom we adore. I Feel Grosvenor Manor is my extended family, and family is very important to me.
