As soon as you arrive, you see a smart building and are then greeted with lovely, well-presented staff at the front desk. Any queries they sort. Very high standards of cleanliness in rooms, there are no bed smells unlike many other care homes. There is a relaxing atmosphere where residents seem happy
and received individualised care and again any problems or queries are sorted efficiently by staff. Staff members are attentive and friendly and the relationships between themselves and the residents and anyone else involved such as myself (independent caregiver) provide high levels of care. Activities and menus are displayed and all are encouraged to join in and are treated with dignity. 10/10

Since my mother moved here in March, the staff have gone out of their way to make sure she feels at home and the care she has received from everyone is amazing. My husband also had 2 weeks respite here and again, I cannot fault the care he received.

Mom went to Birchmere for a month's respite. We were extremely pleased at the level of care and attention that mom received.
There were plenty of activities that mom took part in and she was allowed to integrate her own activities into her stay effortlessly.
The standard of Birchmere Mews is of premium
hotelier standard, from good quality and variety of food to outdoor as well as indoor activities.
We will definitely be looking to return. Thank you to all the staff for treating my mom with dignity and care that she deserved.

A well presented, modern, and well maintained facility with all the amenities you could wish for in a care home. Restaurant quality food is varied and nutritious with an excellent choice on offer at all sittings. The staff and carers are friendly and welcoming and attentive to the needs of residents
and visitors alike. A wide variety of activities, trips and entertainment is also provided on a daily basis for the residents to enjoy.
