She then moved to live in Africa for 17 years and ran a successful business before returning to the UK in 2014 where she joined a leading care home provider as a Home Manager. Shann was delighted to receive a Divisional award for Outstanding Care and Quality during her time managing a successful nursing and dementia home in Shropshire.

Hello, my name is Bev. I’m the Head of Houskeeper at Brockington House. My journey started in January 2020 as a housekeeper. After a few months, I was promoted to Deputy Head Housekeeper and 2 years ago I was promoted again to Head Housekeeper.
I absolutely love my job and meeting all the new Residents. It’s a fabulous place to work. All staff rights across the home are great, but I have to say that my Housekeeping Team are amazing.
