The Goldbridge is a purpose-built care home that occupies an idyllic position overlooking Beech Hurst Gardens.

Many have direct access to the landscaped gardens or balconies, and with options for single and twin bedrooms, and are able to cater for both individuals and spouses.

Jacqualine Fleming

Job Title: Home Manager

Hello, my name is Jacqualine and I am the home manager at The Goldbridge.


I qualified as a nurse in 1992 and have enjoyed a diverse career. Over the years I have specialised in accident and emergency care in some of London’s largest hospitals, worked in Harley Street as a cardiac matron and practice nurse, and spent six transformative years in post-war Kosovo, where I dedicated my efforts to establishing shelters for vulnerable children.


In 2018, I transitioned to focus on dementia care, first as a dementia care manager and then as a deputy manager at a newly constructed nursing home. It was there that I discovered my true calling in this field and was subsequently instrumental in turning around three nursing homes that previously required improvement, gaining invaluable insights and expertise throughout the process.


I joined The Goldbridge in 2024 and with the support of my wonderful team, I am committed to providing the very best care to all of our residents.

Job Title: Chef Manager

Joined: 2018

I have worked at The Goldbridge since it opened in 2018. I initially joined as a deputy chef and later became the chef manager. Prior to that, I had worked for The Disabilities Trust.


I love to see the residents and staff enjoying the food that we have cooked.


Outside of work, I live with my husband and two of my three grown-up children. I love to travel and Southeast Asia is top of my list. I’ve been to Thailand many times as well as Laos, Cambodia and Bali. I am looking forward to visiting India later this year.
