To ensure that improvements are made, we have put in place food feedback forms and have set up a food committee, which meets every month to review the comments with the Head Chef and myself. We also have our menus displayed on every floor, including the bistro menu, which ensures different choices of meals are always on offer. Once again, thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Lesley has spent her whole career in care, with her roles taking her from nurse training to owning her own business in domiciliary care. She joins Oakdale having managed other nursing homes, and dementia-specific homes and has also owned and operated domiciliary care agencies throughout the southwest of England.
She believes that being a strong team is important and that managers in care must be “everything and more” to their team, to residents and to their families.
