Barony Lodge is a beautiful modern home, where the dedicated team provides residential, dementia and respite care breaks, which can be pre-booked.

They follow not-for-profit provider Sanctuary Care’s unique Enriching Lives framework, based on the six senses people need to be fulfilled and happy – a sense of security, belonging, continuity, purpose, achievement and significance. By working closely with their residents, they support them to meet these senses and achieve their goals. Like resident ambassador Edith, who is so proud of her role, which includes everything from interviewing potential staff to showing new residents around the home.

The 60 spacious bedrooms are beautifully decorated and have ensuite wet rooms. Some rooms also have direct patio access to the gardens, as do the main lounge and garden room. Residents are very much encouraged to bring personal ornaments, pictures and small items of furniture to make their rooms their own.

Barony Lodge has beautifully decorated light and airy lounges. The home also has a themed art deco cinema room with a popcorn machine. And residents enjoy home-cooked meals in the dining rooms.

There is an on-site vintage tea room; a lovely spot to catch up with loved ones, who are welcome at any time, over tea and home-baked cakes.

The team also embraces the local community into life at Barony Lodge, running a monthly dementia café.

The sensory gardens have been landscaped with raised flower beds, for residents who enjoy gardening. There are fruit trees and lots of places to sit and enjoy the sunshine - and the resident rabbits!

With a hair and beauty salon, complete with a nail bar, residents can enjoy being pampered. The home also has a giant tablet, for interactive games, especially designed for residents living with dementia.

Barony Lodge is located in the market town of Nantwich, with excellent transport links and close to local shops.

My Mum moved into Barony Lodge Residential Care Home in November after spending a long spell in hospital, suffering from severe anxiety, following the sudden loss of my Step Dad.
When my Mum first moved in she was still quite anxious and slightly confused. Six weeks later and her improvement is amazing.
The staff have been very supportive and patient with her and although she does still get slightly anxious she is making tremendous progress.
The other residents are all lovely too and the place itself looks more like a hotel than a care home. The lounge/dining area is lovely and all rooms are spacious with ensuite/wetrooms.
Highly recommend it.

My mother-in-law has not been happier for years. Rather than living alone with eyesight and mobility problems trying to run her house, she now is almost stress-free, has many friends and takes part in lots of activities. Mum was in hospital when we found Barony Lodge Residential Care Home. She needed extra care which since she has been here has been wonderful. Everyone has made her feel relaxed and us, her children, have felt welcomed and cared for too. We know she is in a safe place.

I cannot praise this care home enough, from the very first visit I was very impressed with everything about it.
My father is a very difficult person to please but he is just so happy here and even he cannot find fault with anything.
A five-star hotel couldn't be any better.
I really hope the good
standards of care continue.
