Windsor Court has really eased the burden of placing my dad in care. The staff are genuinely warm and friendly. He now doesn't like leaving as he really feels at home. They have a real interest in his welfare, and I can't speak highly enough of this home and the staff.
A downside though - he's putting
weight on because of the quality of the meals, meaning I'm buying bigger trousers - he loves living there.

Windsor Court have all been superbly kind to my uncle even through all the grimmest aspects of dementia, and the endless changes of lockdowns. The team have been marvellous to all his friends and family, even coping well with staff changes, and after my uncle's death in their excellent care. I've had
family in numerous care homes, and Windsor Court is by far the best I've experienced.

Lovely staff, very friendly and supportive.
Facilities are excellent and the establishment is very open to families and questions.
Over 4 years we are totally convinced we choose the right care home for Mum.
It's not perfect but ideal care is certainly the best provider we have found.

The team were very supportive in making sure Mum stayed the minimum time in hospital and it really helped to get her back into a family environment.
The care team always show compassion and patience with Mum who has mobility issues and dementia.
The management team are always available to talk about
Mum’s needs, which helps me a great deal.

I recently visited Windsor Court to see my mum, who has been a resident there for approx three years. As always, the home was welcoming and friendly, and Mum was happy and smiling. Other residents were also there, and it often seems as though you are visiting everyone in her wing rather than just Mum.
Conversation is easily struck up with other residents who are always curious when visitors arrive. We spent some time with Mum in her room before taking her out for a coffee and cake, although chair aerobics was her alternative; she plumped for the coffee.
The home has been a welcome change to the numerous care homes that we visited before settling on Windsor Court; indeed many of the residents, Mum included, often reference the facilities it offers closer to a hotel than a care home. Each resident's room has its own ensuite facilities, flat-screen TV, and comfortable chairs.
The home often goes above and beyond; her 90th birthday was one such example with the exemplary buffet that they provided on the day for her and her immediate family in a private room so that we could celebrate as a family.

Mum has been at Windsor Court for coming up to a year now. The staff at Windsor have always been there for Mum when she has been unsettled. Mum has had different family members come to visit, and the management team have put nice food on in the garden room so we could have some private times with them.

I found all the staff to be pleasant and helpful and I have no complaints at all concerning my brother's care. It is a great relief to feel that he is so well looked after especially as I live almost 300 miles away, and I can only visit twice a year.

How happy I am to have found Windsor Court for my father! He is now walking again, he is regaining confidence and is regaining his health after a horrendous, life-threatening previous experience at a different home. Windsor Court has changed his life for the better. He is happier now, more comfortable,
and with Windsor Court's help, more able to enjoy life. They are kind, compassionate and friendly in a nutshell, they care! As in everything, it is easy to see that this stems from the top. In my experience, the Windsor Court management is open, willing to engage, energetic, supportive and eager to improve residents' quality of life. When they say, 'We really want our residents here to be happy' they mean it and act on it. In 20 short weeks, they have helped bring my father back to his old self. Windsor Court is, for me, the best alternative to my father being in his own home. It is all down to the staff. Long may they continue their good work!

The staff are very friendly and caring. Mum recently had a stay away from the home in hospital but the home management have done everything possible to ensure she could return to the home on discharge and meets mums needs. The personal touch and care all the staff but especially the managers have shown
mum and my family has been over and beyond what was expected. Thank you for all your help and efforts.

My father moved to Windsor Court in August 2021 when it was becoming too difficult to meet his care needs at home. He had been living with dementia for over 10 years and had associated and escalating physical frailties. After a successful 2 week respite stay in June he moved full time to Windsor Court
6 weeks later.
The home is comfortable and the facilities and range of activities are excellent. More importantly, the ethos is open, warm and welcoming. We have nothing but praise for the care that my father received. The staff and the care plans that they devised took full account of my dad's preferences, needs and also his wishes for the future. This included an expressed wish to avoid being readmitted to the hospital (if possible) in the event of a deterioration in his health.
In October his health deteriorated. The home worked closely with the primary care team and at all times consulted us and kept us informed. He received skilled and sensitive end of life care. The staff were fantastic.

I moved Mum up from her care home in Surrey to be closer to me. The distance and COVID restrictions were making visiting hard and the lack of contact was making her dementia worse. It was absolutely the best decision I could have made. Mum was well cared for and seemed so happy but it was the incredible
love and kindness we were both shown by all the staff at Windsor Court during the last weeks of Mum's life, that gave me the greatest comfort. That moving her had been the right thing for Mum.

Dad moved into Windsor Court in October 2020. It was a difficult decision as he was happy at home but needed extra care. We have never regretted the decision, Windsor Court is bright and airy and Dad is happy. The staff are really caring and know Dad really well. Dad says he thinks he will stay longer
as the "people here do everything to support you and are so kind".

This is a well designed, newly built home that is kept clean and comfortable. I have always been very impressed by the quality of the staff who have always been efficient, helpful, friendly and caring. Thus, all staff are permanent rather than short-term agency carers. The range of activities is thoughtful
and varied helping to make Windsor Court a happy place to be. The food is of a high standard with plenty of variety and overall the home is very well run.

I have found new friends here and really enjoy the food. We sometimes have cheese and wine nights or French afternoons, which I really like. I get an apple every day because an apple a day keeps the doctor away. I like the gardens and go walking with my friends every day. I am so happy that my family
can come back now and they even got to see my bedroom from the window.

Moving my mum into Windsor Court during Covid restrictions has obviously limited my experience of the home environment itself. However, everything else I have experienced has been excellent: from before Mum transferred, preparation, the welcome on arrival and on-going care for Mum, who is very content.
She looks really well and loves all the staff and the food. Everyone I have dealt with has been incredibly helpful. Extremely pleased.

During the month of November, my mother became quite poorly, resulting in hospitalisation where she was diagnosed positive to Covid-19. During this time, the managers and staff were a massive support for me and my mother. This support continued after her death on 04/12/2020. I would personally like

Mum arrived when she was 98 years old and we moved Mum from London into a wonderful new home. Everything was excellent and as Mum kept saying 'what more could I want? Three meals a day and no washing up'. I could not wish for a better place for Mum in her last years.
