Lighthouse Lodge offers a warm welcome to all relatives visiting their loved ones.
If advance notice is given, visitors are welcome to use the facilities. Friends and family would like to join their loved ones in the spacious dining room for a meal, or even enjoy a light bite in one of the tea rooms.
In order to dedicate the time to provide an initial look around, the Lodge requests that viewings are organised in advance; So to ensure staff members are available.
Onsite parking is available for both residents and visitors. Additionally, there is street parking available - so finding a space shouldn't be a problem!

Thank you for your lovely review, we know how difficult it is for families to make the decision to bring their family member into a care home setting but we are so glad you made that one and came to our lovely home, Lighthouse Lodge. As you mentioned, we pride our home on our staff, along with where we are positioned overlooking the river. Activities are prime along with understanding our resident's needs. Good food is abundant from breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea every day, evening meal and supper, our food is of the best quality prepared by our top chef.

The building is new and is very well laid out with clean, pleasant and spacious rooms and very nicely decorated common areas. The lounge on the top floor has a wonderful view of the river Mersey. I don’t live locally so I’m particularly happy to leave mum in a place in which I know she will be safe and well looked after and surrounded by cheerful staff who feel like friends. Highly recommended.
The food is delicious and that the care taken with medical needs is excellent.

I am the Lodge Service Adviser for Athena Healthcare Group at Marine View Lodge and Lighthouse Lodge, Wirral. I provide families with information required when considering a care home for their relative. The first point of contact and advise enquirers about the different types of care we provide, our Lodge features and the process involved for a relative moving into our Care Homes.
Enjoy showing families around the Lodges and answering any questions they may have, I assist them right up to admission of their relative and am always on hand thereafter. I love meeting families, prospective residents and helping to make the move into our Care Homes the best experience it can be.
My role also involves building relationships in the community working with organisations, businesses, charities etc and providing information in relation to the care provided at Athena Healthcare.
I enjoy spending time with my family, and I love dogs. I enjoy walking my dog, Buddy.
