We were so impressed during our first impromptu visit to Dane View that we all agreed immediately that this was the home to move our mum into. It was warm, clean, spacious, safe, friendly and very welcoming. Since Mum moved in towards the end of last year, her memory and mobility have improved so much,
it has been very reassuring and a huge relief for us to see. Her appetite has returned due to the good quality home-cooked food. A meal is offered to us too if we want to have lunch with Mum in the lovely spacious lounge overlooking the garden.
We were also encouraged to bring some of Mum's own furniture and belongings to make her room more homely. This made a huge and positive difference to her transition from independent living to being in a home and she has settled very well.
All the staff are very friendly and professional and focused on client-centred care with Mum's needs always being met in a very caring and thoughtful manner.
Very highly recommended - thank you.

My Mum is 80 yrs old has Alzheimer's but early stages. She had been in hospital and was recovering from a chest infection, extremely exhausted and could not go home alone. She needed some extra care to get her back to her normal self. Mum had always strongly advised us that she never wanted to go into
a home. So it was a very tough challenge to get her to agree to a short stay. We literally just turned up at the home to have a look around. Immediately she let her barriers down and agreed to stay. Dane View is nothing like some of the typical depressing and dreary care homes. It has a feel of a hotel/Spa, super clean, modern, light and bright. Nutritious home-cooked meals onsite in full view of residents and visitors, hot drinks, juice available at any time. At the end of 2 wks Mum said she would be happy to go there again. She put on weight and gained confidence. Care staff warm, friendly and caring all approachable and residents are treated with respect. Highly recommend.

My dad is treated like the person he deserves to be treated like. The staff are wonderful, friendly and approachable. The manager made the whole transition from hospital to the home an absolute breeze and is genuinely caring. The rooms are lovely, bright and everywhere is immaculately clean, I am so

Dane View Care Home with Nursing is an outstanding, beautiful and remarkable place. It is spacious, spotlessly clean and filled with ambience. The CQC inspection, took place in July 2019, when there was a newly appointed manager, just days into the job. The report published on 30th August 2019, in our
opinion, does not currently reflect this wonderful Care/Nursing Home. The new manager is very professional, approachable and enthusiastic. Already we have seen an increase in quality Nursing staff and Care/Support workers. Activities are increasing to help residents feel more engaged. This is a positive step. Our mother was admitted to Dane View in August 2019. She has advanced Alzheimer's Disease. The standard of care has been exceptional. She is treated with kindness, dignity and respect. Concerns have always been addressed swiftly and professionally by the clinical team, which has been comforting and reassuring.
My family and I would highly recommend Dane View Care Home with Nursing.

Beautiful care home - decorated extremely well. Manager and staff worked very very hard to make this a "home from home" environment. Nothing was too much trouble. Home was set in lovely grounds. Full marks to all carers, they are an asset to the home.

As a family, it was extremely difficult to face facts that no matter what we as a family did to enable us to keep our parents in their own home it became unmanageable due to safety issues and the level of care they needed. Firstly they went into a care home for respite but it was quickly established
they could not go home. They were very unhappy and we were not sure of all care issues, however, since moving to Dane view we have seen a change in their wellbeing and happiness. We all feel confident they are safe and cared for,

I have never been in such a clean care home. There are no smells, it's just clean, light and bright. The staff that I have met are really nice and friendly. I would recommend your place to anybody that was looking for a lovely care home.

We believe our parents are receiving an excellent standard of care at Dane View.


The accommodation is beautiful; well maintained and with a very high standard of cleanliness.


Staff seem attuned to each individual's needs and are able to provide the right amount of care and attention. Dane View

has a calm and restful atmosphere. All staff contribute towards this feeling including the housekeepers and handyman.


We have good faith that when we are not present, Mum and Dad will be safe and well cared for by staff who are attentive and caring and keep us informed of health and other issues.


Please note below, where I have ticked 'satisfactory' for activities, it is only because Dane View is so new and this aspect of care is not fully established.


I would just like to say thank you so far to all at Dane View. At present, and at last, we have peace of mind with regard to our parents' care and welfare.

My wife who was terminally ill spent the last two weeks of her life in your care. I was impressed in all respects with the care she received. Nurses were on call 24 hours and responded quickly to all calls. It pleased me that I was able to be in her company whenever I wanted. You may consider that I
am happy to say that all the boxes can be marked as excellent.

Myself and family members have recently moved both parents to Dane View Care Home from a previous residential home. It was becoming more apparent that parents were requiring nursing care. However, regardless of this, the whole ambience of Dane View Care Home is overwhelming in a positive way.

We are very impressed with the consistently high standards of nursing and attentive personal care support for our relative. The facilities available are excellent. The bedroom is well furnished, light and airy and very clean. The housekeeping service is very good and the meals for our relative are nutritional
and presented very appetizingly. All the staff we have met are thoughtful and welcoming and respond very promptly and positively to any general queries we may have concerning our relative's health, care or other needs.
