Opening in January 2019, Meadow View is a beautiful new 54 bedroom residential care home in Enniskillen providing expert healthcare for older people, including those living with dementia. Meadow View care home residents can take part in a regular and varied activities programme, organised by an exclusive Activities Coordinator with pastimes, hobbies and interests in mind. Very good care and support for my mother and treated with great dignity. Peace of mind knowing that staff do care and invest their time and effort when looking after the residents. Very good communication and arising issues are dealt with promptly and kindly.
In terms of activities, I don't really
know what Mum is doing as her dementia robs her of the memory to recall her days activities and access for myself into the home is restricted due to COVID.

Since my father came to Meadow View care home myself and my family have been extremely satisfied with the level of care he has received. All the staff are very friendly and have developed a great relationship with my father. We are always kept up to date with everything, whether it is good or bad news.

The home is of a very high quality. The staff are very caring and helpful. They treat my mother with dignity ad respect and she is very fond of them. The rooms are comfortable, clean and tidy and are of the best standard we have seen around the local area. The home seems a bright and cheery place.

My uncle is very well looked after and really likes living here. He thinks he is in his own home as he has dementia which is good for him. The staff are very good to my uncle and he has never complained about anyone. It is great for myself and my family to know he is well looked after, safe and happy.

The staff at Meadow View were excellent in looking after my dad when he was in for respite care. Although we could not visit due to COVID restrictions, when we rang every day the staff were so caring and helpful. We will be forever grateful for their help.

Dad moved into Meadow View initially for respite but now for a longer stay just as the lockdown was happening to shield vulnerable people from COVID-19. The staff have been great at helping him settle into life at Meadow View and have really taken the time to get to know him and his interests. It's
really lovely to hear that he is able to chat with other residents and staff and take part in activities that he does seem to enjoy. It's not easy not being able to visit but the staff have been doing all they can to make sure we keep in touch. Dad is hard of hearing so the phone can be problematic so the staff, two, in particular, have even been helping him do face to face calls, which helps him understand what we are saying and it is simply great to be able to see him while we speak. I am so very grateful to all of the staff for their kindness and care.

My father entered Meadow View at the start of the Covid restrictions. Straight away the staff made it clear to me that their aim was to find out as much about my father as a person so that they might relate to him better to meet his individual needs and make him feel more comfortable. From day one I
was reassured. Each staff member I have spoken to over the phone has been patient, cheery, kind, caring, and understanding. Despite their escalated workload during this Covid crisis, they have gone the extra mile to keep families and friends in contact with loved ones. One particular unit manager and her team have been caring for my father. They have been arranging video call conversations for families and relatives so residents are reassured by familiar faces. Each time I have phoned, there has been an air of great activity and jollity about the place. My father has made friends, has settled in quite quickly and is happy. My family and I are incredibly grateful to her and her team. Thank you, guys.

My Dad has been a resident of Meadow View care home, Enniskillen for the past month or so. During this time, the staff have always been polite, warm and welcoming to my father. Since my Dad entered the care home, we have been experiencing 'lockdown' due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the extra stress
and strain which they as care staff of the vulnerable must be going through, they have always been so understanding and patient. In particular, they have facilitated regular personal calls between me and my siblings and Dad so that we can have short chats with him. This has been so reassuring to me, my brothers and sister and also to my Dad. It is a relief to see him looking so healthy, positive and well-cared for. Thank you to the staff of Meadow View, Enniskillen. I am so grateful for your care, especially at this time. I wish you and your families good health and fortitude - I cannot speak more highly of you.

My dad was admitted to Meadow View in Enniskillen just a month ago. Unfortunately, this admission coincided with restrictions on visiting due to Covid19. Obviously the family were very concerned about dad settling in. Thankfully, due to the hospitality and warmth of the staff, he seems to have settled
in much better than in a previous home. The staff, especially one in particular, have really been wonderful in helping us do video calls with dad. This has been a lifeline for dad and for all us siblings. Can't wait to visit Meadow View sometime soon and meet staff who seem do be doing a great job in difficult circumstances. Thank you all so much. I cannot rate MV on most of the categories since I haven't visited yet, but so far we are very pleased that dad is being well looked after.

Very welcoming friendly staff, very clean facilities, and everyone is caring and thoughtful. During Covid-19, they have gone above and beyond to ensure all residents are safe, all families have regular phone contact and are well updated! We even get daily video calls with granny, which are amazing and
really brighten her day and makes us at home feel more connected with her. A very well run home, and it’s so heartwarming to see how some of the residents get on with my four children when we visit granny! Such a lovely, homely, caring place.

My mother spent ten days in Meadow View care home (respite). I was extremely impressed by the cleanliness of the whole building and rooms. The staff all appear very friendly and knowledgeable re. dementia. I was put at ease straight away, so too was my mother and reassured that all would be ok. I cannot

A modern design with an emphasis on a 'home from home' feel rather than clinical stereotype buildings. Wonderful staff - all most efficient and helpful in their own areas of expertise. The home is always busy with activities and tv/radio and sitting room interaction. Twice daily 'tools down' policy
for interaction between all staff and patients shows a very modern approach to caring. Finally - husband happier now than in the past few years.

The very difficult decision we had to make as a family to avail of respite recently, was greatly lessened by our very positive experience at Meadow View. The facility itself is clean, homely, warm and safe. The colour scheme and decor is lovely and Mum's bedroom was inviting and adequately furnished.
Of course, it is daunting to leave a loved one in a new environment, but the staff were so kind, thoughtful and experienced. From the initial interview at the home prior to going in, to the hugs given by staff as Mum left ten days later, the experience was positive.
