My nan has settled in well at Millers Grange, and nothing is too much trouble for the staff.
The standards of the home are spot on from the care, cleanliness to the food. My nan is always dressed beautifully and smiling.
The staff have got to know her well, and she has developed good relationships
with them, as have we as her family, and we thoroughly enjoy visiting her and are always made to feel very welcome.
She has been treated with dignity and respect even when she is unable to make decisions for herself and is having great fun at Millers Grange!

The staff are always very welcoming and friendly. My Aunt is always well dressed, clean and tidy. Since moving to Millers Grange she is a lot happier and more relaxed, and she has a good relationship with all the staff. All the staff keep me updated with how she's doing and keeps me informed of any
appointments she has or when she has see the Dr/nurse. Millers Grange is an excellent care home for my Aunt.

My mother had been in the care home for just over one week. Following daily visits by myself and wife. We invited our son, his wife and our 2 granddaughters to see her. Having spent some time talking in her room we were approached by a member of the care team. We were aware that she struggled to eat
in the previous days. He asked whether we could all join in a family lunch which we hoped would encourage her to eat, they laid on a wonderful spread and best of all she ate. Loved it.

I was looking for a small, friendly environment for my mother who will need more care than at present. I wanted somewhere that understood dementia and provided stimulating activities every day; somewhere she could get involved or just sit and chat. Millers Grange provided all of the above in a homely
environment. The care home is new, therefore has modern facilities, comfortable, good sized rooms, great food, coffee bar, cinema room and outside garden space.
I know the cost of care is frightening, but this place is average cost, but of a better standard than others I have seen. I would not hesitate in recommending Millers Grange for short or long-term care.

My mother has only been resident for a couple of weeks but the care has been exemplary. The staff are friendly, enthusiastic and helpful.


At very short notice the home was able to host a family gathering for my mother's extended family. Four generations were present, everybody had a great time and

a splendid buffet was provided.


My sister and I have no doubt that mum will be comfortable and well cared for here. It's just right for her!

My mother has recently moved into Millers Grange and I have nothing but praise for everything I've seen. The accommodation is faultless, the plentiful staff are all completely wonderful treating mum with the utmost care and attention. We held a family gathering a couple of days ago and all arrangements
went like clockwork - they couldn't have been more accommodating with choice of room for the venue and the delicious spread that was provided.
It's a 10 out of 10 from all of us, without reservation. Well done Millers Grange!

Job Title: Home Manager

I’ve worked in the care sector all my career, initially providing hands-on care, and later in management roles.


I even worked with a previous Prime Minister to improve dementia care standards. While I’m not a political person, it was amazing to provide expertise at that level.


My favourite part of the day is my morning round, when I say hello to all the residents and find out how they’re doing, and ensure they’re ready for a good day. There’s always a buzz about the place.


As well as care expertise, this role demands great teamwork, a listening ear, empathy and the ability to act quickly. This is the residents’ home, so if they, or their family, give us feedback, it’s vital that we’re quick to respond. The same applies to the team. A lot of my role is to support them to develop their strengths and do their best work so they can enhance residents’ lives.
