Graysford Hall is a truly exclusive, home-from-home senior living setting, ideally situated and easily accessible via the A6, one of the main roads to the City of Leicester.

Located in the leafy, upmarket area of Stoneygate, Graysford Hall is the premium choice in residential care in Leicester. Graysford Hall is a luxurious, calm and tranquil home, offering residents a true sense of serenity and a team of specialist professionals ensuring the health and wellbeing of residents.

Graysford Hall comprises of 69 large, private suites and numerous stylish lounge areas and dining spaces, set over 3 floors. The well established Victorian-walled garden is accessible for all residents and provides a sunny spot to sit and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. Additionally, all ground floor rooms have direct, wheelchair-friendly access to the gardens via elegant French doors.

Very good care home with amazing staff. Everyone is really helpful and kind. The residents are in good hands and are taken care of amazingly. The staff always makes sure to do activities and entertain the residents well. Everyone seems very happy. This care home is very good, the feeling is very welcome.

Everything and everyone is very nice and friendly. You feel very welcome and safe. The rooms are great and ensure personal space for the better. Staff are amazing and everyone here is like a big family.
All residents get a chance to do fun activities which I've seen they really enjoy. There are many
opportunities for them to take part in.

My father has attended Graysford Hall on a regular basis since June 2022. The overall standard of the facilities at this care home are very high. Along with the standard of care offered. The staff are very pleasant and helpful too.

The management team and staff are all brilliant. I can see genuine care for my mum at all levels. The carers are all so lovely to my mum and this reassures me that she is in safe hands. All the staff are approachable, and they are all very aware of how mum is on an hourly basis, which means I can speak
to any of them for an update on how mum is. I do not know how they do their jobs, but I and my sister are truly thankful for such lovely, caring and passionate people, from the manager to the receptionists!

Mum has been at Graysford Hall for almost a year now. She has dementia which has deteriorated over that time but the staff always try to engage with her and carry out a demanding job with a smile, a kind manner and a sense of humour. After a fall, Mum was able to return to Graysford Hall despite being
less mobile than before. I am always made to feel welcome when visiting and everybody has time for a quick chat. Family meals in the private dining room have been very good. I also went to some of the family activity days over the summer which were smashing. Graysford Hall has a lovely ambience, is well-furnished and decorated and spotlessly clean. On a dry day, we often walk in the garden and then sit with a coffee and biscuit.

Graysford Hall was amazing when it came to getting my nan into emergency respite care. She has been there for 4 weeks now due to personal situations at home and she can't rate the staff higher, she tells me they're like a second family and she laughs and jokes around with them as if she's known them
her whole life. The staff are amazing and attentive and nothing is ever too much trouble, the food is amazing and the chef will happily accommodate any changes if she fancies something else that's not on the menu.
I'm really grateful to the team at Graysford, I feel like I have my nan back to the way she used to be, she's eating better and drinking well and she looks so much brighter and healthier
I can't thank the manager, the customer relations manager and the team enough.

The staff are very helpful and friendly, although could have a few more staff working on Sundays. Facilities are spacious, airy and well maintained. Lovely garden to sit out in - South facing, very relaxing. Room accommodation is lovely and spacious.

My father came for respite care. He received wonderful care. The staff are caring, thoughtful and reassuring. Rooms are beautifully appointed and the food is first-rate. The management listens to any concerns and act upon them. Nothing was too much trouble.

Wonderful home with high standards and an extremely caring, professional and committed staff team. Following an unexpected fall at home and admission to hospital, I knew Mum needed somewhere to rest and recuperate before returning home to us. From the moment I called Graysford Hall I was reassured and
impressed with the level of service I received. From the hospital assessment, the home met the high standards of comfort and support each resident receives from the amazing staff team, we could not be happier with the level of care Mum receives. Although having been there for only two weeks, Mum loves the home and has already made some good friends. She says the atmosphere is lovely as are all the residents and has nothing but praise for each and every member of the staff team. The food is great and the building facilities are first class. So happy we found Graysford and would not hesitate to recommend.

Bal Kaur

Job Title: Deputy Manager

Joined: 2019

Bal has worked in the social care industry for around 20 years, and has progressed throughout her career with various positions starting as a Carer, then becoming a Senior Care/ care team Leader, followed by recent posting of the Deputy Manager hereat at Graysford Hall.


Within Bal's roles, being driven, and hard-working is what helps strive her team. Bal enjoys the social aspect of working in Social Care as you get to meet different people from all walks of life.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, going for walks and travelling.


Jayne

Jayne Hill

Job Title: Wellbeing Lead

Joined: 2020

Jayne started working in Care 15 years ago for the Private Sector. Having quickly established a good relationship with a lady with Alzheimer's disease ignited Jayne's interest and passion for caring for those with dementia. Jayne started working in Nursing homes and worked her way up to the Senior Carer level, however, when an opening for an activities-focused role came along she stepped in at the request of her residents. She has been doing this ever since for a total of 8 years.


Kavita

Kavita Patel

Job Title: Administrator

Kavita has spent the last 2 years in Business Admin roles and has completed her NVQ 2 in Business Administration. She thoroughly enjoyed her previous work as a Domiciliary care worker, where she provided care to the elderly in her community.


With her knowledge of both admin and care work, Kavita brings with her valuable experience which is sure to make her a great asset to the team at Graysford Hall.


Rachel

Rachel Pallatt

Job Title: Head Chef

Joined: 2019

Rachel has been a Chef for 26 years and has worked in a variety of roles from high street restaurants, all the way through to care homes. Rachel was a Chef Manager at Samworth Brothers for circa 13 years. All this knowledge has populated Rachel's experience to bring to Graysford Hall.


What Rachel enjoys the most about Graysford is having the opportunity to meet so many different people from such different backgrounds - "they all have such amazing stories to tell and it would be easy to sit and listen to them all day!"


Outside of work, Rachel enjoys spending time with family, including six grandchildren. She also spends a lot of spare time at the local church and supports them with activities whenever possible.
