Eden Court is an award winning care home offering residential, dementia and nursing care in Battersea. As well as the care home Eden Court also offer one and two-bedroom retirement apartments for purchase.

Eden Court offers residents luxuriously appointed lounges, a fitness studio, the choice of three dining areas and a café. An events and activities team work with residents to create an engaging and fun social calendar including trips out in their own transport.

The Eden Court head chef and the team enjoy creating delicious meals and friends and family are always welcome to join for lunch or dinner.

Accommodation comprises ensuite studios and one-bedroom apartments.

Residents can choose from well-appointed furnished rooms or unfurnished rooms to create a bespoke environment and Cinnamon pride themselves in having one of the best staff to resident ratios in the care industry.

This is a truly amazing place. It exceeds my expectations of what an excellent care home should be. Most importantly the level of care is exemplary. The facilities and decor are 'five-star quality'. Residents have a wide range of activities both in-house and trips to parks, museums, the zoo etc. I couldn't
hope for better for my mum. Oh, and the food is lovely!

I have been really impressed by the high standard of care that Eden Court Care Home has given my mother. From the moment she arrived (one of the first residents) she has been shown a high level of personal care and real kindness. I have such respect and gratitude for the hard work of the wonderful care
team.
There have recently been a number of social events, including an Easter fete, which have been a great success.
I feel very grateful and relieved that my mother's care needs are being so well taken care of.

My Experience:


I completed my graduation in health studies from the London School of Management and Science and achieved a certificate for best service in Dementia course from Sterling University.


I have worked in various care settings which has fuelled my dedication to provide excellent care. My knowledge of clinical skills will enable me to continue to provide outstanding care with dignity and respect.


About me:


My enduring passion for nursing can be traced back to my childhood. I am inspired by Mother Teresa who strived hard to collect grains to feed the poor, help the destitute and nurse the leprosy.


I am blessed with two beautiful daughters, studying in senior secondary school. I have a lovely supportive husband who has a Doctorate in Hospital Management.


My hobbies are gardening, social work, current affairs and watching sports.

What I do:


I am the Senior Activities Co-ordinator here at Eden Court. I am responsible for creating weekly activity schedules that are seasonal, exciting, inclusive, stimulating and fun. This includes live entertainment, fun outings, activities centred around hobbies and interests, culinary masterclasses, and cultural days embracing dance, costumes, and foods from around the world.


My Experience:


I started my career in sales. I then moved into event planning & management before running my own business developing & delivering educational physical development sessions for preschool children. And creating extraordinary entertainment packages for children’s parties, family gatherings & weddings. My career path changed course due to the COVID-19 pandemic but led to a conversation with a friend who was managing a care home, she highlighted how my skills would be perfect in a care setting. I nursed my mother through a 12-year dementia journey, it is a cruel disease. I was shocked by the lack of mental stimulation available during a respite stay in care. But it gave me first-hand experience and how I can make a difference to our residents daily.


About me:


I live in Surrey with my husband. We are Aunty & Uncle to many beautiful children. I love cooking, entertaining, staying on our boat, sea fishing and family BBQs on the beach. I also love musicals, singing and Harley-Davidson Motorbikes.

Job Title: Apartment Services Coordinator

What do I do:


As the Apartment Services Coordinator, my main role is to support our fantastic apartment owners to ensure a smooth and uncomplicated moving-in experience that is lasting. Subsequently, I work closely with them after the move-in to cultivate a community environment that feels like home. I am also privileged to work with both the Hospitality and Catering Teams to host different creative-themed galas and events for the Apartments.


My Experience:


Having worked in Social Housing for a number of years I understand how daunting it can be to relocate to a new home, so my experience allows me to assist in making the transition as smooth as possible. While my previous experience has largely been with young, vulnerable adults and families I am excited to bring some of my skills to Eden Court. I particularly enjoy working in a meaningful way, in a face-to-face role where I can create a positive mindset and most of all help others.


About me:


I recently completed my postgraduate qualification in Neuroscience and Psychology, so I have a deep understanding of isolation and loneliness which are a common concern, particularly since the COVID-19 pandemic.

I have been the Head Chef at Eden Grange since 2021. My team and I are responsible for providing seasonal, healthy and enticing food for our residents, as nutritional needs must be met.


My Experience:


I started to work in catering 15 years ago. This changed my career forever. My first kitchen was a village restaurant in Hitchin where I realized my passion for being a chef.


My latest achievement was winning the Vegetarian for Life, Chef of the Year Award in 2023. This recognition is particularly important to me, as more and more vegans/vegetarians are moving into care.


About Me:
Not surprisingly creative cooking is my passion, Hungarian food is very close to my heart, and I enjoy reading the classics. I would love to do a tandem jump for charity.

My name is Nick and I am overjoyed to be the Home Administrator at Eden Court. I have over 21 years of experience in luxury five-star settings with strong leadership skills and management in Banking, Customer Service, Hospitality, and Health & Social Care.


I bring my excellent customer service skills to Eden Court, having worked previously in a Business and HR Administration role for Oakland Care. Having joined Eden Court, it’s great to make good use of my administration skills and experience to manage a busy admin office - processing incoming resident admissions and the day-to-day running of the home.


I chose Cinnamon Care because it is important for me to work for a company that treats everyone with respect and empowers the teams to create a unique resident experience. I enjoy being part of the success of Eden Court and being one big happy family.
