My elderly Mother first went into Trinity Manor for a 2-week respite in January. She was very apprehensive but realised that she was not managing at home on her own. She is still there, some 12 weeks later and her general health has certainly improved, she looks and is, considerably better than she
was on admission. Her room is bright and airy and as she is on the ground floor - she likes the fact that she has access to the outside areas. The staff are always extremely cheerful despite their good humour being tested at times! They are, across the board, very welcoming to visitors and extremely good in keeping me updated on the needs and progress of my Mother.
At present, there are no plans for her to go home but I feel confident that she is comfortable and well cared for. Thank you to all.

My mother has stayed at Trinity Manor for 3 weeks respite after a hip replacement operation. She is 90-years-old. She has been looked after very well. Thank you.

Sohail

Sohail Daniel

Job Title: Senior General Manager

Hi, my name is Sohail, and I am the Senior General Manager here at Trinity Manor Welcome to our website!


As a Registered General Nurse, I have worked within the private care home sector ever since 2009, where I have been able to learn, develop and share my skill set in order to benefit the residents I look after.


During my time working within the dementia sector, I was able to access specialist knowledge on how to encourage and enhance the lives of the individuals within my care in order to facilitate living life to the fullest in the most independent and dignified way possible.


Finding ways to adapt and overcome situations, so that residents can still really enjoy all the things they love, has always been a great passion of mine; showcasing that you really can live well with dementia.


Supporting the families of those in our care is also something that I feel very strongly about, and from the time of enquiry, through to moving in and beyond, I aim to support the families as much as the resident themselves. This can often be a huge change as their loved-one adapts to new surroundings, but I am well aware of how important reassurance and constant communication is for all involved. This is something that the Trinity Manor family are very good at as a whole, and I am so lucky that I get to share all my knowledge and work with such a fantastic team.


Paul

Paul Pippard

Job Title: Deputy Manager

We are very proud to have Paul as the Deputy Manager here at Trinity Manor.


Having worked for Barchester Healthcare for over a decade, Paul has quickly progressed up the ladder, working extremely hard to do so.


Paul has supported people who are living with physical and neurological conditions, including dementia, constantly striving to ensure that everyone can live their lives to the very best of their ability. Paul has always had a passion for person-centred care, looking at each individual as a person and not a number! Paul says: 'To be able to look after someone else’s loved-one is a great privilege and also a massive responsibility.'


Paul continues his studies throughout his career, involving NVQ’s in Health & Social Care, Staff Training & Development , Mentoring and Coaching and Leadership & Management.


As a hands-on member of the leadership team, you will often find him in the different communities helping out the care team, spending time with residents and their families.


Being local to the area and having lived in Yeovil all his life, this is where he is happiest; with his wife their two beautiful boys who keeps them both on their toes!


Elizabeth

Elizabeth Legg

Job Title: Administrator

Joined: 2021

Elizabeth started her time at Trinity Manor as our Receptionist but has quickly shown her ability and now we are proud to say that she is our Administrator. Elizabeth is always available with a welcoming smile and has developed fantastic working relationships with our residents and their families.


You can often find Elizabeth around the home joining in with activities or lending a hand at meal times.


“The thing I love about my job is interacting with the residents especially when we have the events in the home.”


Elizabeth used to coach gymnastics before coming to Trinity Manor, she enjoys being out in the beautiful Dorset countryside with her four-legged friend.


Kath

Kath Ranier

Job Title: Activities Coordinator

Kath joins the Trinity Manor family with a wealth of activities and experience to draw from over 20 years within various avenues of care. Kath has come to us from a local boutique care home to join our family here.


Kath’s passion comes from being able to engage with the residents and she enjoys having fun with our residents. Kath’s aim is to help create memories for everyone who lives at Trinity Manor to cherish for many years to come. Kath enjoys being hands-on and creative and has already demonstrated her flair for all things arts and crafts since joining us.


Kath enjoys walking her dog and attending classes in the local community as well as travelling the world and experiencing different cultures.

Phill Sandford

Job Title: Head of Maintenance

Phill has worked for the past 20 years plus in a maintenance role, in both private schools and care homes. Phill has always enjoyed the challenge of fixing things from a young age and loves nothing more than making something out of nothing! ‘I particularly love working in the care sector, as I love to chat with the residents and build up relationships with them all. Nothing makes me happier than when I have been able to fix something for them and am able to leave them with a smile on their face, especially when they deem something un-fixable!’


Steph

Steph Haycock

Job Title: Head Housekeeper

Joined: 2021

Steph worked in the care industry for over 7 years before joining Trinity Manor in 2020 as part of the housekeeping team, and she soon progressed to Head Housekeeper. Her passion to maintain high standards throughout the home is second to none and takes immense pride in her role. Ensuring not only the home looks immaculate, but that our resident's clothes are also well cared for and returned in pristine condition.


Steph manages both the housekeeping and laundry teams, supporting them through any new challenges the home faces. She says “I enjoy making the residents happy with a beautifully clean home to live in, but none of it would be possible without my great team.”


Outside of the home, Steph is Mum to two very energetic girls and can often be found cheering them both on at their Majorette competitions across the UK.


Marcus

Marcus Batten

Job Title: Head Chef

Joined: 2023

Since joining the team at Trinity Manor, Marcus has worked incredibly hard to bring excellence to the dining experience for our residents.


Marcus has a wealth of knowledge and skills, with experience in restaurants, fine dining, hotels and event catering. Bringing together a team of passionate and enthusiastic individuals. Marcus enjoys the opportunity of working with fresh, seasonal produce and being able to create the menus with collaboration from the residents on their likes and dislikes.


He says “I really enjoy leading this team and working with the residents and I am continuously proud to be the Head Chef at Trinity Manor”


In his downtime, Marcus enjoys watching sports and live music and is an avid supporter of Arsenal.


Liam

Liam Hayter

Job Title: Chef

Joined: 2023

Liam has been a qualified Chef for well over a decade, working in a range of establishments including pubs, hotels, wedding venues and restaurants across the South. His time at the Royal Crescent in Bath fortified a love for the pastry section which Liam is able to demonstrate in his home-baked treats in the café.


Since working at Trinity Manor, Liam has really worked hard to build relationships with the residents to find out what they love to eat, adapting the menu to their tastes and preferences. Liam says “I love to work with the community here at Trinity Manor, being able to provide them with great food is a wonderful experience, and really makes the day”


Once the work day is over, Liam loves to explore the beautiful countryside we are surrounded by, with his loyal dog.


Sarah

Sarah Harvey

Job Title: Community Care Lead - Memory Lane Community

Joined: 2021

Sarah has worked in a caring role for over 20 years and she remains as committed now, as she did the day she started.


Something that comes across when meeting Sarah, is that she is passionate individual especially when it comes to providing high quality care to all of the amazing amazing residents here at Trinity Manor.


Wanting to become a Community Care Lead was something that she was keen to do because it allows her to continue to share the knowledge and experiences she has had in her career, with other members of the team.


When Sarah is not here in the home, she enjoys being around her two children, who she loves to spend time with.


Paul Pippard, Deputy Manager, said of Sarah: 'Sarah brings a depth of experience to the team from her previous roles, and is already fitting in well with the already established team at Trinity Manor and feels like she has always been here.'

Frelea has worked in a caring role for many years and gained valuable experience by working in the local area at different care homes.


Wanting to become a Community Care Lead was something that she was humbled to do because it allowed her to share her knowledge with other members of the team. Frelea is well respected by the team around her, visiting professionals and has glowing reviews from the families of our residents.

As a Dementia Champion Chloe is also available to support our residents and their loved ones along their Dementia journey.


Chloe is local to the area having lived in and around Sherborne all her life. She likes to socialise with her family and friends. Chloe is also an animal lover and you can always find her when we have any four-legged visitors to the home.


Sharon

Sharon Sandford

Job Title: Speak Up Champion

Joined: 2022

Sharon is Trinity Manor’s Speak Up Champion, part of this role is being available to any member of staff who needs a listening ear and support. Sharon works closely with the Management team to ensure Trinity Manor is always at its best. Sharon’s other role is part of the Housekeeping team, more specifically the laundry department. Sharon will often be found around the home returning the freshly laundered items back to their rightful owners with a smile.
