Accommodation is excellent (clean, warm and comfortable). The room has en suite facilities and is very well adapted for older people. The staff, without exception, are caring and kind. Medical issues have been picked up promptly and managed well. Food is excellent and a special diet is well catered
for. Enjoys the company of other residents and participates in social activities. Highly recommended. Gives the family peace of mind to know she is safe and well looked after.

My mother went to Baycroft for rehabilitation and the staff could not have been more welcoming. The standard of care was faultless, cheerful and kind. The food and activities were excellent. The care also included care for visiting relatives and friends. Sadly my mother had a stroke and had to leave
for the hospital but when it was clear she was not to recover she returned to Baycroft for her final days which were managed by Baycroft with skill and care. The whole family is grateful and very impressed by Baycroft Flitwick. We recommend it the home without reservation.

My uncle has been a resident at Baycroft Flitwick since October 2022. It was an easy decision recommending Baycroft to him. After visiting other care homes and walking out feeling and knowing I would never let him go there I walked out of Baycroft Flitwick feeling the total opposite. The staff are lovely,
and that's not just for the visit it's all the time. The care he receives is great and he has improved both physically and mentally since being there. The home listens to any concerns whatever they may be and do its utmost to help. They keep you informed about what's going on, have daily activities for the residents to participate in and actively encourage them to get involved.
I highly recommend Baycroft Flitwick.

From the very first day that we looked around Baycroft, I had a good feeling about it. The manager was so welcoming and immediately put me at ease. My grandma has recently become a permanent resident, and this has continued throughout her stay. All the staff are friendly and welcoming to family and
friends; they are constantly offering me lattes as soon as I arrive to visit! I can even bring my little dogs to visit. My grandma requires specialist care, she can be very difficult to care for as she has dementia, and the staff have never been phased by this; they are amazing with her, have constantly met all her needs, and they do it all with a smile. She has settled a lot quicker than I anticipated. One particular nurse is particularly on the ball and is outstanding. Moving Grandma to a care home was a really difficult decision for us, and I struggled with the idea, but the staff here have made the transition as easy as possible and have reassured me at every stage.

My father was in Baycroft Flitwick for 6 weeks to give my mother respite. From day one he and all his visitors were treated superbly well. All staff knew his name and those of family members who visited regularly. Dad was happy to stay in his room but was encouraged out, something I really appreciate
as he needs the motivation to do things.
From what I saw, and smelled, the food was delicious and certainly plentiful. As a visitor, I was always offered a hot drink. Finally, all the team were totally lovely.

We feel really fortunate to have Mum looked after at Baycroft Flitwick. She has lived here for two and a half years, and during that time, he needs have dramatically increased. Baycroft has managed to look after Mum constantly brilliantly. They are always patient and compassionate and treat her with
gentleness and dignity. Mum loves all the carers, which is a major achievement, as she is not always the easiest person to look after. We are so relieved that Mum loves Baycroft and grateful to all the staff - who are fabulous.

On my visits to Baycroft Care Home I have always found it to have a happy and helpful atmosphere. The staff are efficient and helpful to take care of the residents' needs. It's a lovely home with a homely feel and lovely restaurants where the residents have their meals. They have a cinema, hair salon
and a gym.

Living by myself and having to have a full knee replacement op, I wanted to feel safe before going home. Baycroft, from the minute I rang to arrange 2-weeks of care when my op was delayed for days, couldn’t have been more helpful. From arriving with my grandson, you seem to feel the calmness. The first
few days were tough, the support and encouragement were important, and it was incredible. From the nurses managing the pain, meals in my room, personal care, and people coming to talk to me, I started to improve.
At last, I was able to enjoy everyday life in the home from joining in meals, having company, going to the garden, and taking part in activities. I was welcome all the time. It made me feel like I was special. I had an extended family, even being invited back to visit. Without this help, my son, family and grandson could get on with their lives knowing I was safe and happy. My warm thanks from my son and family, my grandson, and not forgetting myself go to everyone at Baycroft.

My mother has been at Baycroft Flitwick since September 2019. It is a beautiful home with wonderful facilities. The rooms are light and have lovely bathrooms. The staff are very caring and look after my mother superbly. The activities are daily. The food is excellent. My mother always looks clean and
cared for with hairdressers coming in weekly which she loves. All the staff are lovely and I couldn't wish for a better home for my mother.

I visited my friend whilst the Red Nose Day walking challenge was taking place. We walked around the gardens as it was such a beautiful day, and the staff were so welcoming and informative about the challenge that they were taking part in. We contributed several steps towards the 10,000 target. Having
witnessed the amazing care and love that all the staff from management to carers to host give the residents, I would, without a doubt, have no hesitation in placing any member of my family into this care facility. I look forward to visiting again.

Our lovely Mum has been at Baycroft since it first opened, the staff are so kind and caring and go to great lengths to ensure quality care and comfort for our mum and all the residents. Its been a tough two years with the pandemic however Baycroft have been so accommodating with providing garden visits,
window visits and one-to-one visits when safe to do so, along with regular video calls. There is always regular entertainment at Baycroft with amazing events and activities which cater for all. As I live in Dorset it's wonderful to see our Mum in the photos on social media clearly having a wonderful time with all her friends and staff at Baycroft. The gardens are beautifully kept and lovely to sit in on a nice day watching and listening to the birds. The chef and kitchen staff go out of their way to create some lovely dishes with lots of choice and variety. I cannot praise the staff enough, every single one of you.

The home has a lovely feel to it. Always greeted with a smile, always clean and tidy. Obviously, due to Covid restrictions, I understand that not all facilities are being used to full potential. Dad always appears looked after and cared for to a great level. The staff always appear helpful and attentive.
The food is always lovely. I feel I can trust that dad is cared for correctly to a high standard.

Moved mum into Baycroft a couple of months ago, she spent two weeks in isolation at first due to the pandemic. The staff have been very caring and professional in helping us through this transitional period of settling mum into her new home. The accommodation is all new and is surrounded by a nice outlook
and gardens. The staff have kept us informed of mum’s progress and her interaction in joining in with activities organised by the activity coordinators and arranging window visits, which reassured us that she is getting the best possible care and is safe and well looked after.

Mum moved into Baycroft Flitwick a month ago and initially spent a couple of weeks in the isolation wing. Naturally, she was quite confused and anxious having moved from all that had been familiar but the staff were very calming and encouraging and it was reassuring from a family point of view to be
able to chat to her during window visits. After two weeks, Mum moved out of isolation and seems to have settled in well, enjoying interaction and activities with the other residents. The individual and communal accommodation is very luxurious and the gardens are lovely tranquil areas to sit outside when the weather allows. The staff have been great, both with Mum and family, answering any queries promptly and keeping us updated. A special mention must go to the activities coordinator who has gone above and beyond in organising visits and Skype calls, along with all the other activities.

Baycroft Flitwick is a nursing care home with excellent accommodation and facilities.
My wife has Parkinson's disease with dementia - moving to Baycroft just prior to the COVID-19 lockdown being implemented.
Following a difficult transition period, my wife now appears to be settled and content. This
I believe is due to the caring staff, all of whom I have encountered, show compassion and empathy towards my wife/residents.
My wife, once withdrawn, will now engage with residents and staff, and indeed, will now participate in certain activities/entertainment organised by an excellent lifestyle co-ordinator.
The arrangement of a facility for video calls, and subsequently, socially distanced outdoor visits, has been most invaluable to me during this COVID-19 lockdown period.

Baycroft is a beautiful building, filled with beautiful staff who go above and beyond to make a difference in the lives of their residents.
My mother has advanced dementia and during the lockdown, the team at Baycroft Flitwick has done everything possible to keep her safe and maintain her quality

My name is Danielle and I am the Home Administrator at Baycroft Flitwick. After working in the theatre industry for over 6 years, I was given the opportunity for a change in career and joined the wonderful team here at Flitwick. Being the Home Administrator allows me to have a close working relationship with not only the staff but the relatives, residents, and the wider community. Since starting here I can honestly say that there is no other job that has been quite as rewarding, which has been made even better by the kind and caring team I work alongside.

My name is Bernie and I have worked at Baycroft since it opened. My current role is the Activities Co-ordinator where I have the pleasure of keeping the residents active, involved and above all happy. I love my job as I find it very rewarding being able to lighten up a resident’s day. Talking to a resident not only keeps them engaged but also helps me understand their needs, likes and dislikes.

My name is Kat and I have been a host here at Baycroft for nearly 2 years. I love working with the wonderful residents we have here and supporting them to maintain an independent lifestyle. I am currently working towards my Level 3 in Leadership and Management with hopes to progressing within the company. It’s great to be a part of such an enthusiastic and caring team here at Baycroft Flitwick.
