Marine Lodge offers a warm welcome to all relatives visiting loved ones.
If advance notice is given, visitors welcome to use the facilities. For example, may like to join loved ones in the spacious dining room for a meal, or even enjoy a light bite in one of the tea rooms.
In order to dedicate the time to provide an initial look around, the Lodge requests that viewings are organised in advance; So to ensure staff members are available.
Onsite parking available for both residents and visitors. Additionally, there is street parking available - so finding a space shouldn't be a problem!

She could not praise the staff, the Lodge itself and our wonderful rooms and foods enough. She spent her birthday with us, which I attended and had a fabulous afternoon, one of the best ever, she told me. She wants to return to see us and all of the friends she made, once she can. We have Lifestyle Coordinators now on every floor, who make sure there are meaningful activities carried out each day. We also keep contact with families and friends via Social Media and Phone calls/Facetime and other mediums.

When I first came to Marine View Lodge, I knew I was going to fit right in. There is truly a lovely feel to our Lodge that makes everyone feel comfortable and at home. All our staff members are warm and welcoming, it is an honour to work alongside so many caring individuals.
The core value at Marine View Lodge is to provide comprehensive, transparent care to all our residents, looking after their well-being whilst placing dignity and respect at the heart of everything we do.
We pride ourselves on providing a nurturing environment for all our residents. With an in-depth experience and knowledge of caring for those living with Dementia, we provide support for our residents and their families who are making the transition into a care home. We understand the difficulties and challenges that may arise, and we are here to talk through any questions or worries you may have.
Job Title: Lodge Service Advisor

I am the Lodge Service Adviser for Athena Healthcare Group at Marine View Lodge and Lighthouse Lodge, Wirral. I provide families with information required when considering a care home for their relative. The first point of contact and advise enquirers about the different types of care we provide, our Lodge features and the process involved for a relative moving into our Care Homes.
Enjoy showing families around the Lodges and answering any questions they may have, I assist them right up to admission of their relative and am always on hand thereafter. I love meeting families, prospective residents and helping to make the move into our Care Homes the best experience it can be.
My role also involves building relationships in the community working with organisations, businesses, charities, etc and providing information in relation to the care provided at Athena Healthcare.
I enjoy spending time with my family, and I love dogs. I enjoy walking my dog, Buddy.
