The room resembles a hotel room and is very comfortable. The staff are friendly and accommodating to the individual needs, nothing is too much trouble. The best advice I can give is to come and see the home yourself and you will be surprised at what it can offer.

What a wonderful place! Today is my nans 95th birthday and they have gathered the residents in the bistro for tea and cake! Lovely team, with lovely facilities. Nan could not be happier.

Since my mum arrived in May 2024 she has been treated with care and affection by every individual member of staff. Her room is light and spacious and kept beautifully clean. The restaurant is lovely and she is given a good choice of menu daily. The activities team work very hard to provide a good selection
of activities and they encourage mum to join in. The bistro is bright and welcoming too and a nice place for the family to meet. Every time I visit morning afternoon and evening the home is welcoming and friendly I cannot fault it thank you (apart from the price obviously)

Top-notch care has consistently been provided for my mother. Staff go above and beyond in all that they do. This includes care staff, domestic staff and nurses. The staff also ensure that plenty of enjoyable activities are provided and they will always ensure that attendance is facilitated if that is

Having looked after both mum and dad, I cannot fault the care and attention given to both of our parents. Nothing was too much trouble looking after them with dignity and respect. In the latter stages of their lives, they did everything possible to ensure they were comfortable and rested. The staff

My mum really enjoys the social events put on for the residents, i.e. bingo, music, singers and church services. Enjoys getting out of her room and mingling with other residents. The lady on social events is very good.
She also enjoys socialising with carers and has built up good relationships with
lots of them. Also, excellent support from the members of staff on reception.

My mother-in-law is very happy here although her dementia is increasing rapidly. The staff are very good with her and considerate. When we visit everyone is very friendly and welcoming It is lovely to have coffee with my mother-in-law in the Bistro and socialise with other residents. I did notice this
morning when I came for a visit the lawn is in a sorry state it's very long and looks unkept. Not the ideal impression for a very expensive care home.

My mother was transferred to Fairfield in September 2023 after four months in hospital. She was extremely frail and unwell on arrival and required full nursing care. The care she has received has been exceptional. She has put on weight and is now mobilising, eating in the dining room and participating
in activities, including choir, keep-fit and yoga. She has made friends with fellow residents and staff. As a family, we have been welcomed, included and involved in her care. We visit Fairfield several times a week and cannot thank the staff enough for looking after both our mother and for supporting us through some very difficult days.

Family always receive a very warm welcome on arrival. Our family member has been here just over a year and has received excellent care from all the staff. She feels happy and secure in the open, caring environment which is Fairfield Manor. The Bistro is a lovely bright venue which is perfect for sitting

He likes working at Baycroft Fairfield as he feels really supported and there is excellent team work Staff get to spend time with the residents and nothing is ever too much trouble for any of the staff to do. The team here do not do this job just because it is a job, they do it because they care and they all have a good knowledge of what they are doing.


There are high hygiene and infection control standards in the home and everyone takes infection control really seriously, he feels safe here.


The atmosphere is warm and friendly and all the residents are extremely happy and well respected.
