Opened in February 2020, Richmond Cheltenham is an award-winning retirement village nestled within attractive woodlands on the outskirts of Cheltenham.

At the heart of the village is the beautifully presented 60-bed care home, offering nursing and residential dementia care. The village offers a range of state-of-the-art facilities not always found in a care home, including restaurant, bar and café, library, activities studio, a wellness spa with treatment rooms, nail bar, hair salon and a gym and fitness studio, as well as various lounges, accessible rooftop terraces with panoramic views of Cheltenham, and preserved woodland walks. The village also boasts a scheduled transport service.

The 60-bed care home provides nursing and residential-dementia care in a beautifully-presented environment. All rooms are decorated by a team of specialist interior designers and feature electric profiling beds, a range of furniture, en-suite shower room, TV, telephone and Wi-Fi access. Many enjoy patios and balconies with views of the surrounding gardens and woodland.

Residents are supported to live a healthy and happy life in the very best environment. The dedicated and highly skilled care team are supported by Richmond Cheltenham's hospitality staff, who provide nutritious meals, whilst the on-site activities team provide a range of activities and events tailored to the interests of the residents.

Respite breaks are available for one week or more if you are a carer looking for a rest yourself but don’t want to be too far away from your loved one. It is possible to book these stays in advance. They also offer convalescence care.

Dad has been resident on the care floor at Richmond Cheltenham since March 2020. The facilities are excellent and the environment is well designed, very comfortable and spacious. What is most impressive is the whole staff team. Without exception, the staff are kind, friendly, professional and have great

I have over 20 years of experience within the Care Sector from supporting individuals with learning and physical disabilities to dementia and end-of-life care. I studied at the University of Chester and hold a degree-level qualification in Counselling with a focused approach to individual health and well-being. I have also studied in various roles in the Health and Social Care Sector, gaining mandatory social care qualifications and managerial qualifications throughout my career.


I am focused on bringing person-centred care and activities into the care home ensuring independence skills are continued and developed upon.


In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband and two children keep me busy, from being the taxi driver to all the after-school activities such as The Scouts, Drama classes, Ju-Jitsu and Badminton, as well as going to school plays and dance recitals.

Additionally, I oversee our Spa services, ensuring that residents enjoy a space dedicated to relaxation, rejuvenation, and self-care.


My goal is to foster a sense of community, well – being, and connection, helping each resident live their life to the fullest in a safe and supportive environment.
