The mature gardens back onto fields giving a peaceful and tranquil environment. The home benefits from communal lounges and dinning rooms in each of the 4 communities, allowing for lots of space for residents to move around.

The home is not what you think it is.
It will surprise you to know that it includes trips out. The new mini coach is a great asset.

I am at the moment staying at Denmead Grange Care Home for 3 weeks of respite care. The rooms are clean and a lovely size with very ample size furniture. It's like being in a 4-star hotel. The food menus are varied and very good. All the staff are very kind, helpful and considerate. You feel that if
you had a problem you could go to management and staff. A weekly programme of interesting subjects is available which you can take part in. I would recommend this care home to friends and family.

I came to Barchester Denmead Grange Care Home initially for some respite care whilst my medication was being changed, I stayed for four months in the end and wanted to share my experience. Overall, I felt safe, comfortable and well taken care by all the friendly staff. From the moment I arrived, they
made me feel welcome and settled. The carers are always kind and patient, treating me with respect and dignity and nothing is too much trouble. Denmead Grange is always clean and tidy with a lovely, warm atmosphere and my room was spacious and always kept clean with ensuite facilities. Lots of group activities always going on and the food was exceptional with lots of choices. I wouldn't hesitate to return if I ever need to.

It was an excellent stay. we enjoyed being treated not just as guests but spoilt. All the staff were like a team and we often felt we were being spoilt as favoured friends not as paying guests. All staff were as helpful and caring as can be hoped for, regardless of time of day or shift. We could not
ask for better and would certainly recommend the home to any person as well.

My husband has stayed on several occasions at Denmead Grange for various periods during the past 5 years. (2 weeks/ week, 4-6 nights) for respite (he has vascular problems) The staff are professional, practical, and caring with him, they have a realistic awareness of the issues which change and develop
unexpectedly with this diagnosis they take time to discuss him each time he stays so that his needs can be met he is content willing to return and has confidence in his surroundings and the staff.

I cannot thank, praise or recommend Barchester Denmead Grange Care Home and all the team highly enough. Absolutely everyone is professional, kind, caring even loving and dedicated. Nothing is too much trouble from my constant phone calls to my mother having her "funny turns" - my mother loves us all.
My mother had and is having quality time, made new lovely friends and is able to use her life skills making her feel valued and have a purpose all over again. Thank you.

Both of my parents used the Denmead Grange Care Home and I cannot praise them highly enough. A very modern and stylish home that gave them comfortable rooms and excellent care. The food was excellent and the staff were always on hand to take care of everything. They have very high standards with lots
for the residents to do and have nice touches such as a cafe and quiet peaceful grounds. We needed care at short notice and the Grange helped take care of everything including transport etc. I would highly recommend it.

My wife and I had previously looked online to see where my brother was staying.
This was a lovely surprise and looked so inviting.
We were not let down when we arrived for our very first visit to see my brother after a while.
Your staff are all lovely and friendly and welcoming to everyone.
My brother
was happy with the service and staff and spoke highly of it all.
There have been some adjustments to be made as he lived alone for some time.
The whole care home is beautiful and attention to detail is felt throughout. It is a credit to everyone who works with the residents and who are understanding, kind and thoughtful.


It's good to know he is being taken care of day and night with lovely meals each and every day. Entertainment is put on for interaction and it is good to see all enjoy it so much.
Good experience and pleased to see everything provided and how it works.


Recommend this as it's the best care home I have ever seen and visited as an outsider looking in.

I have worked in the care sector since 2012. I have progressed from Activities Coordinator through to Senior Carer and then became a Deputy Manager in 2018.


I joined Barchester Healthcare in October 2019 as the Deputy Manager for this beautiful care home. I have since progressed and I have now proudly been the General Manager since March 2022.


I am passionate about being involved in the delivery of high-quality care for our Residents. I have always found working in care extremely rewarding and have a passion for Dementia care.
