Welcome to Figbury Lodge. At Figbury Lodge the team aim to run a service that delivers the type of care that they would want for their own loved ones.

The service manager, team leaders, administrators, support workers, domestics, cooks, activities champions and maintenance operatives ensure that they have considered all angles of making Figbury Lodge as much of a home as possible.

Figbury Lodge, in Canford Heath, will provide 50 care and 10 nursing beds, alongside 20 intermediate beds – a bridge between hospital and home – 10 of which will also be nursing.

Four accommodation wings incorporating various communal areas.

- 80 beds with private bathroom facilities.
- A multi-purpose room for activities and events.
- Separate dining rooms, lounges and quiet spaces.
- Large fully landscaped courtyard garden with outdoor seating and a seaside themed garden area
- Pitch and putt, a hobby shed and raised planting beds.
- a community hub and facilities which will be accessible to members of the wider community.
- A hairdressing salon and shop.
- A giant chessboard.

The home will offer enhanced support and facilities to Poole residents, including rehabilitation with clients accepted on a referral basis by the NHS and the Council.

Having only visited twice, I must say my experience of Figbury Lodge is excellent and I am assured that my friend will have an enjoyable stay.
The staff have impressed me with confidence in saying that my friend will be well cared for.

I love coming to Figbury, a very warm and pleasant atmosphere. Carers and staff are always very welcoming. They can't do enough for the residents.
My mother-in-law is very happy at Figbury. I couldn't ask for a better home for her to be in. She really enjoys all of the activities. I've worked in a
lot of care homes and I think this is definitely one of the best.

The care my nan receives at Figbury is above and beyond. The staff are so kind, caring and so loving, bringing a smile to her face. The activities team are phenomenal, providing such varied and creative ideas which keep the resident's minds active and socialising all the residents. The personalised
and personable care my nan receives, and all the support and love. I know my nan is in the best place, with the most caring staff, getting the best possible care. Thank you.

This home is always warm and friendly - the staff are constantly caring and invested in us but particularly the people they care for, always using their first names and paying attention to them first. All my family and friends who have come at very pleased with the care that my husband receives and
always say how lovely it is - clean and bright. The wide corridors are a big bonus as well as the bedrooms looking onto a very pleasant garden. We can come at any hour to see our families. The entertainment is varied and fun - anyone can join in. I feel happy that he is so well cared for and his brother and wife are happy too.

I have found the staff extremely kind and always make time to talk to us and make us feel extremely welcome. The care home is kept very clean, we have never seen it untidy. One staff member in particular went out of her way to aid us and take care of us on our visit.

Very pleased with all the care Mum has had since she has been in Figbury. The staff are so very kind and nothing is too much trouble.
Absolutely recommend this care home, the manager gave total reassurance when we first came in as was really sceptical about Mum going into care but really should not
have worried.
Other relatives are very friendly and lovely too.

My mum has been at Figbury Lodge now for almost four years. During these years, she has been wonderfully taken care of, but the experience of the last month or so has been incredible. Mum, aged 99, fell in her room, and the paramedics were called, and she was taken to the hospital. To cut a long story
short, she had a hip replacement, eventually returning home to Figbury after just over a week. The care given to us while she was in hospital by the manager of Figbury was exceptional in every way and one of the team leaders even visited the hospital as I had expressed concerns about her care. Now, she is totally reliant on the care of the fantastic team, and I couldn't be happier that she is cared for so well. Figbury Lodge is a wonderful caring home and even cares for the families. Thank you so much for all you do.

Whilst Dad was only in Figbury Lodge for a few weeks of rehab, he was made to feel at home from the moment we arrived.
When we left, so many staff came out to wish him well; he was very well cared for and looked after.
All staff were also attentive to our needs as a family and always answered any
questions.

Fantastic care facility, my grandmother has lived here for two years and the level of care she receives is amazing. After losing her husband, who also lived here late last year, her emotional needs are clearly being met. We are so grateful to all the staff.

Needs more activities. My brother locks himself in his room if no activities are happening then he will get aggressive. He needs to be around people. Could do with more activities.

My sister was admitted to the home for a short stay and we are very pleased with everything.
Being a bit sceptical about going into a care home, we need not have worried. Staff and residents are all lovely and made to feel very much at ease.

My darling wife became a resident a year ago. The change has been remarkable for a frail timid person with little conversation to a vibrant confident lady.
In june we celebrated our 60th wedding anniversary and this fantastic home and staff helped us celebrate with family friends and residents with
entertainment, a special cake and sparkling wine. Thank you to everyone.

Figbury Lodge care home has a lovely, kind and caring staff who have time for their clients. Dad's room is always exceptionally clean and is ensuite which is a real bonus. Food mostly has been very good and plenty of variety. The care staff are available to discuss any issues and are always willing
to help. I highly recommend this care home along with the daily activities.

My brother was recently placed at Figbury Lodge Care Home for an interim period to being housed in assisted living. He is very happy there and his room is lovely and meets his needs. Staff are friendly, lovely and care for him very well. They are diverse to adapting to his needs and mobility. Physios
give a good service, as well as the nurses and carers. The building is bright and very clean.

A wonderful place for my father to have end-of-life care. Friendly staff from reception to care staff, cleaners or kitchen staff. Everyone was so kind and very helpful to my father and also to me, and for this, I will be forever grateful to thank you. Sorry, it's taken so long to finally send this but
I will never forget the help you have my father and me. Being an unpaid carer is the hardest thing I have ever done - it almost broke me.
