Mum came to Elworth after a long stay in hospital. The care she receives amazing. The staff are attentive to every detail, and their communication with me is excellent. I am very happy that mum is cared for by the team at Elworth - they are truly second to none. Thank you.

My mother-in-law went in for 2 weeks of respite and she settled in really well. All the staff were friendly and nice to talk to. Her room was lovely decorated and very modern. They helped her to celebrate her birthday with flowers and even made her a birthday cake. I would definitely pick this care
home again in the future.

My mum was apprehensive about going to a care home and initially, went to Elworth Grange for a two-week trial, which was extended to four weeks. Mum liked it so much that she has become a permanent resident. We think that Mum cannot believe her luck in finding such a wonderful place. She says the food
is excellent, the staff are all very helpful and are always there to support her. Mum loves all the activities, which she finds very stimulating. This has meant that her conversation has improved, and when we visit or she comes out with us, we can have a good chat. Mum feels very secure, which has meant that her physical and mental health has improved. Mum likes her room and having some of her own possessions with her, which makes the room feel personal to her. As a family, we were experiencing a difficult time when Mum went to Elworth Grange, and the staff were very supportive of our needs as well as Mum’s, and we cannot thank them enough.

We looked at a number of care homes in the area that would give Mum a months respite, and Elworth Grange ticked all the boxes. Mum was made very welcome and began to enjoy her stay. So much so, that with the care and assistance provided by all the staff, Mum has now become a permanent resident. There
is never a quiet moment at Elworth, with each day being filled with an activity of some sort, and the great part of that is that we can see and hear it all happening through regular social media updates. The quality of care is incredible, the staff are friendly, understanding, extremely patient, and very attentive to both residents and visitors alike. With Mum being a resident during the lockdown, we've been able to enjoy phone calls, (Covid friendly) visits and even Zoom calls. These were made all the more special by the fact that Mum is so well cared for and happy. I'm told the food is wonderful, and it sure does look it. It really is a great place full of joy, laughter and excellent care.

My mum has returned home today after a 4-weeks respite stay at Elworth Grange. I cannot rate this facility highly enough and will always be grateful that it was available and local to us when she needed care.
Every exchange and communication with the home was conducted in a professional, caring, good-natured
way - nothing was too much trouble, and at all times, my mum's health and well being were paramount.
The settling in the facility was very welcome, and me being able to spend some time in the home to meet some of the staff and reassure Mum was a lovely touch, especially as Covid restrictions make these exchanges so much more difficult.
I would like to thank all the staff by name, but as they were universally excellent, I would hate to leave someone out!
So a huge thank you to everyone - you are a credit to the care profession and deserve every accolade and award you achieve. I’m sure Elworth Grange will have continued success and be a much-valued part of the community.

I researched and organised my Gran a short stay at Elworth Grange for respite care whilst my Grandad recovered from an operation and as my Gran keeps telling me, “you’ve picked a good one Rachel”. The staff are some of the friendliest and most caring people that I have met and you can tell that working
at Elworth Grange is a vocation rather than just a job to them. Staff were all so helpful whilst I was organising Grans stay and they assured me that my many many phone calls and questions were never too much trouble! Gran was extremely nervous and upset about having to go to a care home but the staff could not have made her more at ease. She has truly made some new friends in the people that care for her and she has mentioned them so many times. Despite her initial hesitation, Gran has absolutely no complaints about her care or the home itself (which really is beautiful, just like a 5* hotel!) and the food is getting rave reviews!

I placed my mum in Elworth Grange for respite care, based on the the fact she would be in lovely surroundings for two weeks and that the manager had emphasised the person-centred care aspects of the home when we spoke. Mum has quite advanced dementia but is very active and gets bored easily. From the
photo updates, I could see she was enjoying the activities and care provided. When she returned home her speech and communication, in general, was improved. A testament to the care and stimulus she had received. She will be returning for long term care.

My nan has only been in the care home for a few days but already she has improved so much. All of the staff are absolutely amazing with her and go out of their way to get to know all about her ways. This was a very hard decision for us to move her into a care home but was 100% the right thing and we
have definitely found her forever home. I can’t thank the staff enough for everything they are doing for her.

Elworth Grange gives fantastic care to my nana. The home was used for respite that turned into permanent care just when my family needed it. The visiting during the summer was fantastic, they have a lovely garden where you can social distance but still see and stay close to your loved one. This really
helped me and my family cope with the huge transition and most importantly helped my nan to cope with it too. Nan is now at home in Elworth, with weekly visits from my mum, which again in a pandemic is hard to do but they have managed to make it happen - super service! I love seeing the pictures they post on social media, it really helps with missing your relatives. You can call at any time to speak to your loved one, this is fab too! Most of all, I love how happy my nan looks and how glamorous she looks, I always used to do her hair and it makes me happy to see her hair and nails done to pristine condition - some weeks her nails even match her clothes! Would highly recommend.

The staff do an amazing job and engage with the patients brilliantly. The activities involve each service user and there is something for each individual resident, which is great in itself from a game of darts, to a karaoke and pub night and themed days. It’s great to see the residents enjoying themselves.

We have been dealing with the manager and staff of this care home since August 2020 and we highly rated their care policies and principles and we had no hesitation in booking my mother-in-law into Elworth Grange. She has been there since mid-December and spent Christmas and New Year with company all
around her, which is not the norm as she previously lived on her own and kept saying that she was bored and lonely. All the staff are professional and fully committed to their jobs and the people they provide care for. Also, you can instantly feel relieved that all is going to be OK. We needed that after 3 years of trying to "care for and occupy" our relative. She is 99 years old very soon and is happy, relaxed and content with all the people there and she has got involved with social activities (indoors at present due to Covid 19) but I'm sure she will join in during the summer months; this she has never done before.

The wonderful staff at Elworth Grange have gone out of their way to help mum get settled into the home. I absolutely love the fact that I can see photos of mum having a great time. The activities are so clever and look to be so much fun. The food looks fabulous and I love the two new additions - the
budgies. Living so far away, it is lovely to know mum is settled and happy. I simply cannot thank the staff enough for all that they do. Everyone is so kind and have such a wonderfully positive attitude. Mum's day-to-day life has been enriched so much by moving into Elworth Grange. I cannot recommend it enough.

From what I have seen on social media, the care provided is top quality. The food looks amazing and all the activities residents are able to partake in are brilliant. Due to the current situation, we have not been able to visit but it's been brilliant to be kept updated via the Facebook page!

My nana is currently residing in Elworth Grange. Naturally we were all apprehensive about Nana moving into a home, especially in the middle of a pandemic. However, Elworth has shown us we had nothing to be apprehensive about.
I can honestly say I have never know a care home like it - it is amazing.
The person-centred care that my nana receives is second to none. The team make it their mission to learn about the life, family, hobbies and interests of their residents.
Although at the moment we all cannot visit, the Facebook updates are the highlight of our days, keeping us informed daily of what Nana is up to.
My nana has always been a sociable person and having such a caring team and other residents around her has totally lifted her. When speaking to Nana and seeing her via video calls, I can tell she is content and happy and I never worry about her.
The activities and entertainment facilitated by the staff are also brilliant!
All I can say is thank you!

My mum went in for 2 weeks of respite care following a fall. The staff went out of their way to make Mum feel safe and cared for. Her care was nothing short of excellent. Their Covid-19 arrangements made us feel safe and secure, they are Covid-free which I believe is very rare at any business which
is a testament to the whole team. If we were looking for a care home for Mum on a permanent basis we would not hesitate to come back here, it’s worth every penny!

Elworth Grange is a fabulous care home; they have taken great care of my mum who has Alzheimer's and can be extremely difficult at times! She is always included in all the activities that are held on a daily basis, which she seems to enjoy. The staff are amazing, and I have total confidence that my

From my first call to the management team, my concerns and requirements (for my uncle) were handled with extreme understanding and efficiency. The admission process, despite Covid and New Year holidays, was accelerated to get my uncle into this beautiful, safe environment, surrounded by care and fully-trained,
compassionate people to make his days fun filled and colourful.
Everybody involved in the paperwork, admin, assessment, Covid testing, admission, settling process, catering, was totally committed to their part in the chain and communicated to and supported me at all stages.
Everything promised prior to arrival has been achieved and my uncle is happy, settled, valued, clean, warm, fed and safe - surrounded by care and professionalism from smiley staff.
I see his daily activities through Facebook updates and know he’s in the very best place and that I did the right thing choosing Elworth Grange.
