My mother initially went into Fenchurch House Care Home on respite care due the illness of my father. This was in January and was the height of the recent Covid-19 lockdown. The care and compassion shown by the whole team to her on the subsequent death of her husband of over sixty five years was amazing.
It was so hard on all of us that we weren't able to be with her but the staff became her family and for this all of us will be eternally grateful. Four months on Mum has settled into her new life in the home. Her individual needs and requirements are all catered for. The staff go out of their way to make all residents feel part of a new family. We cannot recommend this place highly enough. If anyone needs residential care either permanently or as respite this is the place to be.

My mother moved in two weeks ago. The building, bedrooms and communal rooms are of a standard to her own home. She is treated as an independent person but with the safety of the staff. She has felt safe and enjoyed the interaction with other residents and staff. She is not told when to get up or go
to bed. he has a choice of meals. The staff are always on hand to help with issues. I am extremely satisfied.

We are very happy to have found Fenchurch Care Home for our Mum. She needed respite care from hospital for 6 weeks, as she has settled in so well and unable to manage by herself at home soi is going to stay full time. Mum loves the food and always tells me there is a choice. The staff are very kind
to her and treat her with respect and dignity. Fenchurch is like a 5-star hotel, decorated beautifully and facilities are great. The gardens surrounding the home are landscaped to a very high standard including a summer house.

Fantastic and very helpful. My mum is so much happier here, it’s clean bright and very modern. The staff go above and beyond to help and are all very professional. I would recommend Fenchurch House to everyone.

My mother was placed here for a six-week assessment from the end of January to the beginning of March. Although coronavirus restrictions were in place we were able to see my mother with arranged 'window' visits. Staff facilitated contact via telephone and this worked very well. My mother ate well during
her stay and she was very content with everything that was done for her. I found the administration and communications to be excellent. The staff I met showed a great deal of sympathy and empathy with my mother's condition and her subsequent care. I am particularly grateful to the staff for their solicitude and professional manner in dealing with my many enquiries. Also, the manager who was very welcoming. They had clearly gone to some trouble to make my mother comfortable. The home is very new and although I only had a glimpse inside it looked lovely. The grounds and gardens are also beautifully laid out. I would have no hesitation in recommending Fenchurch House for any elderly person.

I am looked after really well. I am not a social person have never had friends, a product of my upbringing. My parents were very Victorian and discouraged anyone visiting, they were awfully shy and I am also shy. The care home is excellent as are all the carers and staff. Thank you all very much.

My father was taken to Fenchurch Care home by ambulance for end-of-life care. He was extremely ill and unresponsive. Over the weeks he has gradually improved and he can now enjoy lunch in the dining room with the other residents and enjoy the dayroom. Fenchurch provides First class care. The staff are
all very friendly and helpful and the care they have given my father, I am sure has definitely prolonged his life. He is now happy and comfortable in their care for which I cannot thank them enough and he is able to safely and comfortably enjoy his remaining time on this beautiful planet earth in the beautiful surroundings of Fenchurch care home with the lovely staff they're looking after him.

Encouraged to join in all activities. The food and drink are of a high standard. Very very pleased with the care given. Staff very friendly. Nothing too much trouble. Dad settled well and is happy there.

Wow, Wow, Wow!
My parents were due to go into Fenchurch for respite on 6th December 2020 whilst having a wet room installed at their home.
My father was suddenly taken into hospital two weeks prior to this. He went straight to Fenchurch on the above date and my Mum was there waiting for him. What
an emotional reunion it was! The Staff at Fenchurch could not have been any more welcoming.
Yes, they had to stay in isolation for 10 days but all meals etc were taken into their room and they had lots of chatter and banter which is always good. Mum and Dad decided to stay beyond their two weeks to include Christmas and New Year.
What a lovely time they had and the Christmas Day and New Year's Day meals were out of this world they say. Even champagne. Mum was able to join in with activities which she thoroughly enjoyed, even going outside with other residents and one of the Carers with hot chocolate to get some fresh air.
I truly recommend Fenchurch to anyone looking for first-class care and amazing food.

My mother was admitted to this care home initially for respite care in October 2020 and she is still a resident after two months.
The staff at the home have always been very courteous and helpful, the facilities are excellent and the food is first class.

This place is a very strong example of what a care home should be. On researching the home a vast amount of thought has gone into the overall planning with gracious decor and facilities to keep the occupiers as part of their recuperation.
The staff have a warm attitude stemming from 'flash' meetings
every morning to make sure the home is run properly. A well organised, well-run establishment. Highly recommend to all.

My mum has been in and out of hospital since September - Fenchurch House staff were fundamental in helping me to get Mum out of the hospital. She is very confused at the moment, however, everyone at Fenchurch House has worked so hard to ensure that Mum feels safe and secure and cared for. We are all
looking forward to Mum enjoying the activities and more interaction with others once the two-week isolation is over. I am very happy with where Mum is and feel relieved that she is being cared for so well. I wrote this review on Friday 13th at 8.30 in the morning. At 10.30 I had a call from Fenchurch House to say that my mum had passed away suddenly. I have to say that I am so grateful to everyone there for their kindness and love towards my mum. I cannot fault the way that they handled this situation and I will always be so reassured that my mum, despite only being there for 10 days, was loved by them all. I cannot express my gratitude enough. Thank you to you all.
