Harrier House Care Home is a family-run, award-winning care home providing luxury quality care in Hucknall.

A friendly, well-trained team ensures high standards of residential and dementia care in a comfortable, caring, and compassionate environment.

Resident happiness and well-being is at the heart of the home and the care team provides daily fun, an engaging and stimulating social program designed to encourage residents to lead a fulfilled, happy and enriched life. In the dementia care suites, residents have access to sensory areas, reminiscence activities, and memory boxes. My mother has just received two weeks' respite care at Harrier House. We cannot fault any single item about her stay. She received over and above loving care. She came out a new woman, we will be using Harrier House again and would recommend this place to anyone. It was like a 5-star hotel. The staff
are amazingly kind and thoughtful.

Mum moved in a week before Christmas and the home is marvellous. Staff are excellent, management the same. The interior and atmosphere are second to nine. Residents are not left to their own devices. There are regular activities with a dedicated member of staff, who organises them. All in all, the care
homes appear to have the policy of excellence in all aspects.

I could not be happier with the total care and consideration given to my mother by the staff and management of Harrier House. The home itself is beautiful, Mum's room is large, bright and beautifully decorated. The attention to detail is great, and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. I feel very

My aunty has been in Harrier House since November. The home is 5-star standard and is by far the best home I have experienced over the last year. The staff are excellent and cannot do enough for their residents and their families. I have experienced first-hand the support the staff provide to family,
recognising that this can be a difficult time. I would have no hesitation in recommending Harrier House to anyone looking for residential care.

When we dropped my Grandparents off at Harrier House I couldn't believe how homely, clean and lovely the home is. We then met the staff who were so incredibly kind and full of warmth. I felt as though we were taking my Grandparents to a lovely hotel. The staff were so caring and helpful. They made what

I don't have anything but praise for the staff at Harrier House, who are all are professional, polite, efficient and very helpful. They were kind and reassuring which made settling our parents into the home as stress free as possible, in what could have been an extremely stressful time for all involved.
There is a very caring attitude throughout the home, which is very well equipped, nicely furnished and appears to be faultlessly maintained. I'd like to extend my heart felt thanks to Sam and the entire team.

Such a positive experience for both my dad and the family. As a family we were desperately searching for an alternative care home, then we came across Harrier House. The management team and staff have been amazing. It was so refreshing to be met with such professionalism, enthusiasm and a genuine interest

Exceptionally helpful staff and management. Very supportive of ours and mums needs. Went over and above on her 92nd birthday.

My mum moved to Harrier House in October 2021. We both knew that she needed to go into care, but after 68 years in one home, we were both dreading it. Everyone was kind and welcoming. The accommodation is first class and access to the patio is a real bonus. after only two weeks Mum decided this was
her new home. The manager heads up a team of caring and skilled people who all go the extra mile. I've got my Mum back. Thank you.

I came for a months respite care and after two weeks I knew I could settle down at Harrier House and make it my final home. The carers are lovely and I feel they are part of my family. There is such a variety of food. The activities are amazing. I went out in the garden with my hat and coat on when
I arrived back I was welcomed with a hot drink and biscuits. I am perfectly happy and content that this is where I'm going to spend the rest of my life.

We've had a pleasant experience of a day visit and loved the offer of lunch which is a huge factor. Food and service was really delicious and we ate within the pub. Lovely decor and brilliant hotel standards. Staff were all very welcoming and seems happy to be here.

Since being in Harrier House the resident's quality of life has improved dramatically. The management and staff were very helpful and made sure that she settled in well. It has taken a great deal of pressure off us and we know that she is safe and being well cared for.
