We joined Mum for a pre-Christmas family get together at Droitwich Mews on the 17th of December. We were allowed to use the spacious and well-furnished garden lounge so that Mum could enjoy time with her great-grandchildren without disturbing other residents. The catering team put on a wonderful buffet
and all staff were so friendly and helpful. We want to express our gratitude to all at Droitwich Mews who make Mum feel valued and happy, and for welcoming her family so warmly.

I can't thank the staff enough for their kindness, professionalism and caring attention in looking after my mom during her short stay at Droitwich Mews. Everyone at the home are so thoughtful and kind and supportive to my husband and I when Mom passed away. These memories will stay with me forever.

Dad has recently been feeling unwell after having had a chest infection. I have witnessed the care and support that he has received. This in turn reassures me that I can leave them to it and make sure Dad has everything he needs for his care. The team are united in their support for Dad and I am very

I came to the home with friends to have lunch with one of the residents. We were impressed by the friendliness and professional approach of the staff. The food was excellent and the meal was very pleasant, being served in the private dining area. The staff showed us around the home afterwards and we
were very impressed by the spacious nature of the facilities, the cleanliness and overall provision for the comfort of the residents.

As a family, we have been delighted with the care that Mum has received since moving to the Mews in July. The staff are all wonderful and have helped her settle really well! This weekend they hosted a small family birthday party for me, which enabled Mum to attend (she is unable to come out, due to
lack of mobility). From the moment I (and my sons and small grandchildren) arrived, we were made so welcome and I was very touched by the huge effort all staff went to, to make it a wonderful afternoon for all! Above and beyond, without doubt! Thank you.

Amazing.
Mum and Dad have 2 rooms with an adjoining door. They are loved by the staff. The whole experience at Droitwich Mews has been without fault.

A very friendly and caring home. The staff are excellent, professional and willing to go the extra mile. I was very impressed with the food, very tasty and the menu very varied. Reception area is beautifully designed and I was greeted with a warm, friendly smile. I would love to be there myself.

A lovely care home with excellent facilities and very friendly, caring staff. Lots of rooms for communal use, but plenty of others if you want privacy and quiet. Very good food, with lots of home-made cakes and biscuits. Always something going on and the carers try to include as many residents as possible.

My mother was in respite care at Droitwich Mews, before being moved to permanent care in another part of the country. Despite her sometimes challenging behaviour and repetitious conversation (due to her increasing dementia), she was treated with kindness and patience. The food was varied and tasty and
my mother really enjoyed her afternoon cake. The housekeeping is of a high standard and the general decor is restful and tasteful.

I cannot fault any aspects of my experience. Whether it be management, reception, housekeeping, catering or activities; all staff are caring and cannot do enough for you. Nothing is too much trouble. My mother had given up on living, she was isolated, weak, not eating, not getting out of bed, falling and was regularly taken to hospital. After only two days at Droitwich Mews Care Home, she was adamant she didn't want to go home.
Now, after only ten days, she is bright-eyed, eating everything put
in front of her, laughing and joking, walking regularly, loving new activities such as yoga, bowls, word boggle and all the social interaction. The change is nothing short of miraculous. My mother now wants to live! The staff are caring, supportive, the facilities are like a five-star hotel At 93 my mother may not have long but it is a sheer delight to see her so incredibly happy in her final years (hopefully). Thank you Droitwich Mews Care Home.

My father moved into Droitwich Mews in May 2023. Both he and the family have been made extremely welcome. All the staff are happy and are only too happy to help and assist with the smallest request. It is a big relief to know that, albeit in a very short time, my father appears settled and happy. Droitwich
Mews is everything we could wish for for our father, grandad and great-grandad.

Along with two others, I visited a friend who has recently moved to Droitwich Mews. I was very impressed from the moment I walked in. Staff, cleanliness, and facilities are all so efficient. We ate lunch together in the private dining room, the food and service were excellent. My friend is so happy
in Droitwich Mews which is the most important thing.

Lovely environment very clean and relaxed. The staff are kind and respectful. I was expecting more resistance from my mother-in-law but the transition was almost seamless due to patience, kindness and above expectations of respect!

I began my journey in the care sector within domiciliary care, where I quickly progressed to a senior role. From there, I moved into care homes, advancing from Senior Care Assistant to Care Manager, Deputy Manager, and ultimately to Care Home Manager. In my previous role, I was proud to lead my team in achieving a "Good" rating from the CQC.


Since September 2024, I have had the privilege of managing Droitwich Mews. Every day in this role has been deeply fulfilling, thanks to the incredible residents, dedicated staff, supportive families, and enthusiastic volunteers who make this home so special. I was welcomed into the Droitwich Mews family with open arms, and I am committed to maintaining and building upon the high standards of excellence that define our home.


I firmly believe that laughter and happiness are vital to the well-being of everyone in the home. At Droitwich Mews, these qualities shine in abundance, creating a warm and joyful environment for all.

I then became a lead Well Being Coordinator, where I found my passion for marketing/social media influence, which encouraged me to move into the sales and marketing side of the care industry as The Customer Services Manager here at Droitwich Mews. I really enjoy every aspect of my role, giving our residents the best customer service is a real highlight for me, also hosting events within the home and bringing together the community is always so much fun! I feel very lucky to be part of the team here at Droitwich Mews, we really are one big family!

Job Title: Customer Service Advisor

I began my journey by first caring for my parents, particularly my mother at the end of my life. The nurse who visited said I was made for the job! I then started cleaning for a few old ladies, which morphed into shopping & personal care and companionship. I tried domiciliary care, but never felt I had enough time to do a good job. Covid came along, and my career path changed! I became a Community Champion for a well-known supermarket. It was because of this I heard about Droitwich Mews. I offered to support the home with raffle prizes etc. The Customer Service manager at the time asked if I would like to join the team! I started at Droitwich Mews on the care team, and then I was offered the position of customer service assistant, and I am happy to say I love it! I get to support residents and chat with them and their relatives. It’s a lovely home and I am proud to be a part of it.

Martin has been working within the maintenance department of 4 different care homes for the past 15 years. Starting with Avery in 2021, Martin brings the knowledge and skills that he has learned within the building trade since the age of 17. Martin is very well-liked by our residents here at Droitwich Mews and is a complete asset to the team. Martin specialises in plumbing and heating which he thoroughly enjoys.
