Little Manor Care Centre was rebuilt on the original site of Little Manor care home and reopened in November 2020. The care centre has state-of-the-art facilities which include an integral health spa complete with physiotherapy area and therapy area, activity and social club spaces, french patio doors from the large lounge out onto the patio garden, full CCTV overt recording system which is electable for bedrooms, education facilities, electric hoists in all rooms, all bedrooms are en-suite and there are 24-hour nurses available. There is accommodation for relatives and community support staff. The facilities are also flexible to help support with convalescence, end of life care, rehabilitation and latter stage dementia, utilising the latest technology.

My stay at Little Manor Care Centre could not have been better. I was taken there after a week's stay in hospital. I was very anxious about the move but was soon made to feel at home. The love, care and support helped me so much to get strong and return home. A big thanks to all.

The first week was impressive. It seems at times there are not enough trained nurses on duty. It has taken a while and a few concerns to be made, regarding a new medical issue. I feel that anything that appears as a new problem doesn't hit the radar. The issue was highlighted before the GP scheduled
visit and it wasn't brought to their attention.

My experience with the care staff was very positive. There are some exceptional carers in Little Mannor, who I don't think are recognised for the work that they do. They should receive bonuses for their efforts. They have to put up with a lot of grief from families that is unjust. My biggest issue was
the quality of the food, it was disgusting. I either had to eat ready meals that my husband brought in or takeaways.

My mother appreciated having her own ensuite room after her hectic stay in the hospital. The staff were so kind to her and could not have been more attentive to her needs. It was clear this was a happy place to be as all the staff got on well together. It was lovely to hear them chatting and laughing
together.

All staff are professional, friendly, caring, nothing seems too much trouble and care and treatment was excellent. Were extremely helpful when Dad was due to be discharged, pointing me in the right direction and getting social care professionals involved so he had the right package to go home to. Very
welcome as I didn't have a clue.

I was pleased to be transferred to Little Manor Care Home from the hospital as I had heard only good reports about it. I was very impressed by all aspects of the home. Facilities provided were excellent. I was treated with care and respect, and with speed and efficiency to the highest standard.

I have been very comfortable staying at Little Manor Care Home. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The physio staff were all encouraging but firm. I was able to return home with a care home package in place.

The accommodation was spacious and well-equipped and it was a pleasure to have an ensuite bathroom. The food was good, although quite a limited choice, but it was nutritious and tasty. The staff were all very kind, helpful and supportive, and I would certainly be happy to recommend this to friends and
family.

I have experienced excellent care and attention, kindness, and compassion and treated with dignity by all members of the staff. All have a very cheerful and polite attitude. The care is of a high standard and attention is second to none. The cleanliness is of a high standard and the food is good.

My stay here has been very helpful in helping me to walk on my repaired hip and ankle. The staff were kind and encouraged me to walk with crutches. I can't find fault in any way, as I wear hearing aids I did struggle with language barriers but eventually got there, a lovely rehab centre.

Negatives: Parking was limited. Sometimes had to wait quite a while for the front door to be opened as there was no receptionist.
Positives: very friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean, light and airy with an excellent bed and bathroom. Lovely afternoon cake! I hope my father-in-law's permanent
care home is as good as this one.

I was unaware when I was transferred here from a hospital in another country after a nasty road traffic accident that recovering here in a care home was in fact for rehab. Since arriving here the staff are very welcoming, friendly and professional. Every staff member goes above and beyond your normal
level of care. It feels like you belong to a little family who all look out for each and other and the residents. Little Manor is like a home away from home. The environment is lovely and it has had a huge improvement on my recovery overall. I would recommend it here every time.

I came in with a bad case of psoriasis after hospital and received attention with care from washing, cleaning and knowing what going on. I was tired from a lack of sleep but quickly reassured which is ongoing. The quality of care has been very good and friendly.

I was very fortunate to be offered a place at Little Manor Care Centre following amputation surgery. This was infinitely better than an immediate return home from the hospital. It is a fresh, clean and welcoming place with nice rooms, and excellent welcoming staff. Rehabilitation was quite good but
because I seemed to be doing well, little further physio guidance was suggested. It's downfall is the food, which is dreadful and offered nothing by way of nutrition etc.

My mother was a resident from December 2023 to March 2024, I cannot put into words how wonderful the staff were, they were incredibly comforting and helpful through a traumatic time. This was the first time Mum was in a care centre and I could not be more at ease with her support and care whilst at
Little Manor. If I were able to put 200/100, I would! It was an outstanding place, Mum is now settled elsewhere.

Absolutely brilliant.
My mother stayed here after she fractured her hip and went to Little Manor for rehab at the time my mother could not walk at all.
Her room was lovely and a comfortable bed with an en suite bathroom and television.
The meals were really good and the cakes and biscuits in the
afternoon were yummy.
The afternoon entertainment in the lounge from crafts exercise and puppet show was really good and entertained the residents and the visitors too.
Laundry was really good we really weren’t expecting that and super clean they work hard to make Little Manor a lovely place to be. The staff was truly amazing from all the nurses who were great in every way.
The physio occupational health and social worker were all very helpful and always so cheerful nothing was ever too much. I cannot praise the staff enough for all they have done during Mum's stay the care from the nurses they give is exceptional. My mother has now started walking again and has now returned home.

Worked well with Mum in getting her up and walking about again.
Mum commented on the friendliness of staff, rooms were spacious and she particularly liked the bathroom. Facilities were good.

My room was comfortable and clean with its own toilet and shower facilities. The staff, without exception, were kind, considerate and friendly. I have no complaints with any aspect of the care and attention given to me. The choices of meals allowed me to opt for vegetarian as well as meat.

Jodie

Jodie Scott

Job Title: RCM, RMA Operations Director & Registered Care Manager

Joined: 2001

Jodie joined our team in October 2001 as a junior carer. She worked as a welfare coordinator between our homes and the local community, before becoming Deputy Manager at Milford Manor, Manager at Holmwood, and then set up the Community Care Team with the support of Agnes Atras (Head of Care). She later became the company-wide Service Manager until she joined the Board in 2015 as the Operations Director. Today Jodie is the most senior Operations Manager responsible for all day to day operational matters across the company. She is supported in this role by our Service Manager Jo McMahon, Placements & Quality Assurance Manager Janet Hope.
