Little Manor Care Centre was rebuilt on the original site of Little Manor care home and reopened in November 2020. The care centre has state-of-the-art facilities which include an integral health spa complete with physiotherapy area and therapy area, activity and social club spaces, french patio doors from the large lounge out onto the patio garden, full CCTV overt recording system which is electable for bedrooms, education facilities, electric hoists in all rooms, all bedrooms are en-suite and there are 24-hour nurses available. There is accommodation for relatives and community support staff. The facilities are also flexible to help support with convalescence, end of life care, rehabilitation and latter stage dementia, utilising the latest technology.

Physio advertised as intensive on your website not as expected. In fact, very disappointing. My husband would have liked to have the opportunity to join in with the activities in the lounge but there were never enough carers to wheel him upstairs. It cannot be good for a patient not to be moved more
frequently. He had only five visits to the lounge in 9 weeks.

My stay at Little Manor lasted three weeks. During this time, from start to finish, I was treated with respect by all members of staff. The bedroom with ensuite was clean and comfortable. The rehab team gave me encouragement to mobilise daily at my own pace with their support. The nursing staff consulted
me on my mediation and medical needs. A never-ending supply of food, snacks and cups of tea at all times, day and night. Tender, loving care was given by all staff.
A brilliant team.

My mother is staying at Little Manor Care Centre following a stay in hospital after breaking her hip. Every single aspect of Little Manor has been superb and it has reassured us that life in a care home can be enjoyable, safe and fulfilling for our mother. The staff are all compassionate, kind and professional.
I sadly cannot name all the staff that have cared for Mum so well but one member of staff has been superb.

My mother received excellent end-of-life care at Little Manor. She had ben wary about going into any nursing home but she soon realised their care and support would make her comfortable. She was more at peace with herself and the world than I had seen her for a long time. I put a lot of that down to
the care and support she received at Little Manor. I will always be grateful to them for making her end-of-life a comfortable time.

In my opinion, Little Manoe is very modern. The facilities are very good; it is very well run. The staff are very friendly and polite. All-round, very good.

My mother aged 96 was transferred here for rehab in order for her to return home to live independently. The care has been amazing the staff are all lovely without exception, always cheerful and helpful. The unit is beautiful very well equipt and very clean and tidy.
I cannot fault Little Manor. Thank

My sister was in Litle Manor for over eight weeks after being discharged from hospital.
She has been very well looked after in every way. The cleanliness is excellent and the staff very friendly but professional at all times. It's a shame at the moment that visiting is only for 30 minutes and we have
to wear protective clothing eg: masks and gloves since COVID. At least we can visit. One comment that was made was that it is quite noisy sometimes in the evenings and during the night.

Jodie

Jodie Scott

Job Title: RCM, RMA Operations Director & Registered Care Manager

Joined: 2001

Jodie joined our team in October 2001 as a junior carer. She worked as a welfare coordinator between our homes and the local community, before becoming Deputy Manager at Milford Manor, Manager at Holmwood, and then set up the Community Care Team with the support of Agnes Atras (Head of Care). She later became the company-wide Service Manager until she joined the Board in 2015 as the Operations Director. Today Jodie is the most senior Operations Manager responsible for all day to day operational matters across the company. She is supported in this role by our Service Manager Jo McMahon, Placements & Quality Assurance Manager Janet Hope.
