Fosse Way View is a state of the art, luxury care home located in the Nottinghamshire market town of Bingham, delivering personalised care packages for elderly people who would benefit from supportive residential care. Beautifully designed into 4 independent communities, Fosse Way View benefits from additional hotel services and facilities on the ground floor so that members from each community can meet up to socialise, enjoy leisure and wellbeing sessions, watch a movie or be pampered with a new hairdo or beauty treatment.

All bedrooms are uncommonly large, beautifully decorated and furnished to the highest standard, every bedroom has its own fully en-suite bathroom with a full wet-room facility; for Residents who prefer a bath, there are a number of beautifully appointed spa bathrooms where they can luxuriate in a bath full of bubbles with the aromas of essential oils creating a relaxing experience. On the ground floor, there is a small number of patio bedrooms, ideal for the avid gardener, sun worshipper or those who like to keep an eye on what’s going on!

I find the home friendly, very clean, bright and airy. It's more like my mother's home rather than an institution. The staff are professional but very friendly and always seem to put themselves out to assist the residents and relatives when they visit. The care provided by the staff seems to well exceed
the care my mother was receiving from her local GP in another area.

We needed short-term care for our mother-in-law whilst we were away. Fosse Way is friendly, clean, beautifully decorated and spacious. The attention to detail with things like artwork and photos to jog memories is so important. All the staff are efficient, caring and conscientious. There are many different
areas for activities and a beautiful garden to encourage as much involvement as possible. Excellent. Thank you.

In our experience, Fosse Way View is an exceptional care home. My father has been a resident for the past four months and is extremely happy there. All the staff we have encountered have been excellent. They are very professional but also friendly, kind and respectful. It is always an anxious time when
a family member has to move in to a care home but the staff handled the situation calmly and put us all at ease. The home is beautifully furnished and is clean and well maintained. The gardens and patio areas are lovely and we are looking forward to seeing them when spring and summer finally arrive. My father reports that the meals are wonderful and he particularly appreciates the constant supply of tea throughout the day! He also thoroughly enjoys the range of activities on offer and is always trying something new. Overall, I would say that Fosse Way View is an excellent care home and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

The team are amazing! From managers, seniors, carers, cleaners, chefs! Nothing is ever too much trouble. I am always welcomed with a smile. The staff showed a genuine interest in their clients. They are all very caring and put the client's dignity and wishes as a priority. I am so pleased they made
my mum so welcome. The weekly activities are varied and meet her needs. The food is very good with plenty of choice and with theme days too. The rooms are beautifully kept and the whole place is very clean and tidy - the gardens are well maintained.

Excellent care home with good, modern and integrated facilities. My wife came into the home in September 2023. One need for dementia sufferers is stimulus, but more is needed to keep the residents occupied in my view. I visit daily.

Here at Fosse Way View, we are continuously striving to evolve our Wellbeing Program, ensuring that we find the right balance for both our Residential and Dementia Residential Residents. We now have a second Wellbeing Coordinator in place, whose primary focus is to enhance this program for Residents who live in the Harmony Suite, which specialises in Dementia Care. In addition to this, we are also recruiting for a third member for our Wellbeing Team.

My sister lived at Fosse Way View for two years. Last year the council instigated a safeguarding investigation into the care that my sister received whilst living at Fosse Way View. Their report, which came out in October, found that medication was not administered as prescribed and that there was a
delay in responding to a medical issue. The council also found that there were issues with moving and handling, including the moving and handling care plan being out of date, some staff not having received the necessary training and procedures being put in place that was not safe for my sister or the staff. They also noted that the concerns around moving and handling continued at that time.

My mum has had Fosse Way View as her home for the last five months, is exactly that a comfortable, caring, warm and welcoming home. Mum has dementia and when it became impossible to care for her in our family home we needed to find a place that closely resembled what she knew. Here at Fosse Way View
Mum’s needs are met in a calm, safe, warm and stimulating environment. The highly skilled staff have created a family-friendly feel to the place where residents are encouraged to build strong relationships, follow their own interests and be as independent as possible in their daily routines and chosen activities. The meals are carefully prepared, fresh and tasty with a wide and varied choice of dishes at each sitting.
The newly purpose-built accommodation allows Mum to have a light airy bedroom with a modern bathroom attached for her private use.
The icing on the cake is the delightful secure courtyard garden for a spot of fresh air to reconnect with nature and the community at large.

During the past 12 months, my mum has been well looked after by staff and carers of Fosse Way View. She has been treated with dignity and respect and our family has been made very welcome. The facilities and cleanliness of the home are excellent. The rooms are beautifully decorated, spacious and light.
A large number of activities are provided and are very well coordinated for the residents to participate in or just watch and enjoy. Overall, I would say that Fosse Way View creates a safe, comfortable and homely feel for my mum and other residents to live in.

My mother has been to Fosse Way View Care Home in Bingham for respite care 6 times over the last 18 months. The team are always professional, friendly, supportive and kind to both me and my mother!


My mother always reports the food as delicious and she enjoys the flexibility of being able to make

her own tea and coffee when she is thirsty. Her room (which inevitably changes on different visits so she has tried a couple) and the public areas are always very clean and welcoming, with soft furnishings and carpets particularly being very nicely maintained.


The care team are super and were so helpful to us when my mother wasn't well before a planned visit for respite care and they were able to arrange for her to move in 10 days early with about 4 hours' notice.


My mother always returns home better than when she moved in - what could be better!

Mum moved into Fosse Way View Care Home after a fall and just before I was due to go out of the country for 3 weeks. She was extremely anxious but happy to be somewhere safe. I was unsettled leaving her, but reassured by all the staff that they would take care of her. On return she appeared very settled
and well cared for and is glad that she has made the move to Fosseway, regularly telling me how happy she is to be there and how kind everyone is to her. I can’t ask for more.

The accommodation is lovely and the extra areas and very welcoming. everywhere is kept clean and feels homely.
The staff are friendly and really care how the residents are each day.
Mum is easy to please, but staff generally realise that when she doesn't ask this is to help them, so they do point
out that it is her home and they are there to look after her, thank you.
I have recommended the home to a number of friends.

Always find the staff very helpful when needed, even when they are busy (which is always).
Mum is hard to please regarding the food and eats very little but is happy and on a soft food diet, which was recommended by staff, and varied. They all try their hardest to encourage her to try everything given
to her, even if she has chosen incorrectly off the menu.

Residence Manager

treating them as you would wish to be treated.”


Having originally started as a Kitchen Assistant, Liz has gained more than 30 years of experience in providing care and support for elderly people to enrich their lives. She is a committed leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards of care and quality of life for Residents.


After being with HC-One for a number of years, most recently managing Beauvale Care Home just down the road, Liz shares the company’s vision in aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident. She uses her extensive knowledge to motivate her team to deliver care and support to Residents in a way that they gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.


She also works hard to arrange events and activities with nearby schools and church groups and is always keen to include the local community in life at Fosse Way View.


When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Liz remarked:


“It means everything to me to see our Residents happy and well cared for.”


Outside of work, Liz enjoys travelling abroad, eating out and dog walks.
