Thank you for your review and for your kind comments, we appreciate all feedback as it helps us to make improvements where required. Here at Fosse Way View, we are continuously striving to evolve our Wellbeing Program, ensuring that we find the right balance for both our Residential and Dementia Residential Residents. We now have a second Wellbeing Coordinator in place, whose primary focus is to enhance this program for Residents who live in the Harmony Suite, which specialises in Dementia Care. In addition to this, we are also recruiting for a third member for our Wellbeing Team.

We continually worked in conjunction with your sister, yourself and the social work team to provide a happy, kind and caring environment over the two years your sister spent with us. After your sister left the home in August 2023, we were pleased you contacted us about her return to the home which you then decided against. We wish you both well and we hope your sister enjoys her new home. We are currently a band 5 with Nottinghamshire County Council and continue to work closely with all our regulators to ensure we maintain the highest standards of care delivery.

My mother always reports the food as delicious and she enjoys the flexibility of being able to make
The care team are super and were so helpful to us when my mother wasn't well before a planned visit for respite care and they were able to arrange for her to move in 10 days early with about 4 hours' notice.
My mother always returns home better than when she moved in - what could be better!

Introducing Liz Wood
Residence Manager
“For me, kind care is putting yourself in someone’s place and
treating them as you would wish to be treated.”
Having originally started as a Kitchen Assistant, Liz has gained more than 30 years of experience in providing care and support for elderly people to enrich their lives. She is a committed leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards of care and quality of life for Residents.
After being with HC-One for a number of years, most recently managing Beauvale Care Home just down the road, Liz shares the company’s vision in aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident. She uses her extensive knowledge to motivate her team to deliver care and support to Residents in a way that they gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.
She also works hard to arrange events and activities with nearby schools and church groups and is always keen to include the local community in life at Fosse Way View.
When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Liz remarked:
“It means everything to me to see our Residents happy and well cared for.”
Outside of work, Liz enjoys travelling abroad, eating out and dog walks.
