Thank you for sharing your experience following your stay with us.
We are really sorry you experienced noise from the dining room and from the nurse call system. We have discussed with the team about the importance of keeping the noise levels to a minimum during the night. We have contacted the manufacturer of the nurse call system and they are currently exploring different ways in which our team are alerted of the nurse call being used by the people we are looking after. We will contact you to update you with the solution found in case you would like to consider another stay with us.
Once again, thank you for letting us know about your complaint, as this has helped us to make improvements. Please accept my sincere apologies for the discomfort caused.

Introducing Liz Wood
Residence Manager
“For me, kind care is putting yourself in someone’s place and
treating them as you would wish to be treated.”
Having originally started as a Kitchen Assistant, Liz has gained more than 30 years of experience in providing care and support for elderly people to enrich their lives. She is a committed leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards of care and quality of life for Residents.
After being with HC-One for a number of years, most recently managing Beauvale Care Home just down the road, Liz shares the company’s vision in aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident. She uses her extensive knowledge to motivate her team to deliver care and support to Residents in a way that they gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.
She also works hard to arrange events and activities with nearby schools and church groups and is always keen to include the local community in life at Fosse Way View.
When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Liz remarked:
“It means everything to me to see our Residents happy and well cared for.”
Outside of work, Liz enjoys travelling abroad, eating out and dog walks.
