I am very pleased with Sutton Rose Care Home. The staff are friendly, helpful, polite, considerate and go the extra mile. It is a comfort to know that my mum is safe and in such a lovely home and is well looked after. It is a pleasure to visit the home.

Excellent care home. The staff, both nursing, housekeeping and management show utter dedication to the residents. The staff are friendly, kind and caring not only to the residents but also to friends and relatives visiting; it's a pleasure to visit the care home. The residents are treated with dignity
at all times. Wonderful care and wonderful people working there. Thank you for the peace of mind of knowing our loved ones are being looked after in such a lovely place.

This is the best care home I have ever been into, everything about it is above and beyond. I haven't got a bad word to say, nothing tops the quality, care and respect from the all-round staff, every department, nurses, carers, housekeepers, doctors, social workers, maintenance, kitchen staff, managers,
reception staff, office staff, gardener, bistro and everyone who works in there, laundry staff, all entertainments and services provided. What a lovely place for anyone who needs care. Perfect, very well kept, very clean, well organised, service users, wonderful, so clean and tidy.

Whenever I visited I found the staff to be extremely helpful and courteous. My friend's room was spotless and great care was taken with her personal hygiene. Unfortunately, my friend's condition meant that she was unable to take advantage of the many facilities that Sutton Rose Care Home has to offer.

My father went into Sutton Rose in May 22, suffering from the final stages of Alzheimer's and from having a fall at home. From spending three weeks in the hospital from the fall to coming out looking terribly malnourished and painfully thin, the turnaround in his condition was amazing when he went into
the home. He went in with the thought of us moving closer to home, as it was nearly a 3-hour round trip for us. It became apparent from looking at other care homes and the way my dad was cared for that he would be better off staying at Sutton Rose. I can't thank the staff and nurses enough for the care, compassion, dignity and love they showed towards my father, and it certainly put our minds at ease with not being able to go all the time. I can't think of a better surrounding for him to of been in. He loved watching films in the cinema and holding court in his own way with the staff and residents, and I always knew he was in caring hands when we left him.

My friend is severely disabled through the effects of a bleed in the brain, and so he is highly dependent on the help he receives from carers and the nursing staff at Sutton Rose.
This is an excellent modern facility that caters for all the needs of older residents as well as partially abled and disabled
residents. With extremely helpful and caring staff, there is a light, friendly atmosphere throughout the complex, which has very pleasant outdoor gardens with wheelchair-friendly access. It is difficult to make any suggestions that would result in improvements.

I feel it is very difficult for an elderly person to come to terms with having to go into a care home, but the main emotional requirement they need is care, compassion, respect, understanding, and to feel loved. This does take time, but you do hope this is something that happens with time. This has
happened at this care home, after a period of time, but communication can be an issue.

An old family friend is a resident at Sutton Rose, and although they would rather be living independently at home, they require 24-hour nursing care. My friend loves living at Sutton Rose and thinks it's a home from home. The staff are friendly and interact well with the residents and visitors. The
food is delicious, and we often visit the attached Bistro for lunch when visiting. Such a great addition to have at a care home! The nurses keep the family updated, and we all feel happy knowing he is being cared for in such beautiful clean surroundings. It is the type of home that you would be happy for your own parents to live in.

My mother went to Sutton Rose from the hospital and was sadly there for just 8-weeks. The care she received was excellent. All the staff are very kind and took the time to get to know her. The rooms are excellent and very clean. The food is lovely. She was treated with respect and dignity throughout.
From the management, reception staff, nursing and housekeeping and carers, she received loving care.

My brother has received excellent care and attention from the whole team at Sutton Rose. The food served is first class quality and is presented beautifully even when it needs to be pureed. He enjoys the cinema and gym there. The public bistro connected to Sutton Rose is a wonderful place for residents
where they can meet family and friends and the staff there are also excellent. The social events are also excellent and they always have live entertainment. The bedrooms are a brilliant design and the whole place is like a 5-star hotel. We always know at the end of every visit when we walk away that we are leaving our brother in good caring hands.

From our first meeting with the manager, we knew this was the place we wanted our brother to be in. Nothing was too much trouble, and the professional attitude of all the staff was exceptional. Plus, you felt straight away that they would do everything in their power to make him comfortable. Any queries
we had, have been dealt with straight away. The other big factor is apart from them being professional in their jobs, they have taken time to get to know us on a personal level and for us to get to know them on a personal level. So impressed with Sutton Rose Care Home.

Having worked in Restaurants and Hotels all of my careers, being a care home chef was never something I’d really thought about until an opportunity arose during Covid. I started off as Head Chef of the care home but now I oversee the catering operation and manage our onsite public Bistro. Both aspects of my role are very rewarding and I love bringing our residents and the public together to create a safe community space.
