Avery Park has been a lifeline for myself and family.
The facility is five-star with staff who are kind, caring, sensitive and professional.
If anybody is thinking that their love one needs a safe place to stay either long or short term. Then I can't recommend Avery Park enough.
Suggesting a caring
home to somebody you love can be very tough. The team. From the customer service manager to the carers, cleaners, handyman and reception (especially one member of staff in particular) make it so much easier.

Due to an accident resulting in my Mum no longer being able to live independently, Mum has been at Avery Park Care Home in Kettering since January this year. It was a very difficult and upsetting time for us as it is with many people. However, everyone at Avery Park has made the move and following months
as smooth and as easy as possible under the circumstances. The care and attention provided is exceptional and there is always someone on hand to help out or answer any questions. This is top quality Care Provision. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Avery Park to anyone.
The only reason I have given 4 stars for 'value for money' is that the fees for care are expensive in most circumstances, particularly when the person is self-funding. This is not a reflection of Avery Park and the service they provide.

Avery Care "Hotel" is the most amazing home for the older generation to reside in or take respite. The staff are fantastic from carers, front of house, management, restaurant, chefs, cleaners, maintenance, events. The entire team are professional, hardworking individuals but also take their time to
ensure the residents are well looked after to the highest degree. You witness this when visiting Avery by the smiles you receive. This is an instant peace of mind for you knowing that everyone is in a happy place. I love having a conversation with all the sofa ladies, so much fun.
Another important factor is the building itself, that is why I like to call it a care "hotel" it looks and is 5 star accommodation that I would be very happy to reside in, pity no beach though!
All in all you could not want a more fabulous residential/respite care than Avery Care Kettering.

My mother was diagnosed with vascular dementia and was no longer able to live at home as she needed 24-hour supervision/care. She had a beautiful home and obviously did not want to move. I had looked at over twnety homes and Avery Park was the only care home that had beautiful spacious rooms, excellent
facilities and activities for the residents, but the most important thing was the care. The staff are very kind, patient and attentive. The top priority is patient-centred care so Mum can have her own routine and eat when she wants to eat etc. The previous care home she was in was very regimented, everyone had to be up and out of their room by 8.30 am and were not allowed to return until 2 pm! Mum was always a late riser and so went to bed later too. At Avery Park she has more freedom, the residents are treated with respect and dignity.

Mum had a week of respite care at Avery in Kettering in October 2023. I had to go away and it was great to know that she would be safe and having fun. She is profoundly deaf and suffers from bouts of sciatica. She enjoyed meeting the other residents and she especially enjoyed the food. One day she went
on an outing into the countryside to see pumpkins grown for Halloween. I have to go away again soon, and this time, Mum has ‘asked’ to go to Avery. She is looking forward to her visit, she says for her it is like staying in a very good hotel.

My mother moved into Avery Park about 12 months ago, and at first, she was quite uncomfortable with the new environment. But gradually she has grown to love her home to the extent that she now never wants to leave. Whenever we visit her she tells us that the staff and facilities are wonderful and she
feels so lucky to be able to live there. She emphasises that she has no complaints about the staff, her room, her meals or the other residents - she says that she cannot fault the place. She has never been a very sociable person, but has made one very good friend and now joins in with some of the group activities, which is not like her at all. Avery Park provides a wonderful, safe and caring environment for vulnerable people and I am very happy that we found this place. Keep up the good work Avery Park!

My mum moved to Avery Park in February 2024, and after only a month, I have noticed how much happier, healthier and more relaxed she has become. The staff are so caring and kind and can’t do enough to put smiles on the resident's faces. The daily activities are amazing, which Mum is thoroughly enjoying.
The care home is like a luxury hotel and absolutely stunning, the food looks delicious, and the overall facilities such as the cinema room and hair salon are second to none. A warm and happy vibe as soon as you walk through the main reception. I’m so happy we found somewhere so special for my mum, and can’t thank everyone at Avery Park enough.

My lovely dad was taken poorly and needed 24 care. We were in need of a place for Dad for respite. My sister's mother-in-law was in Avery Park Care for four and a half years and the care was excellent, so we rang Avery. The manager and head of care came to Dad's, and within a few hours, Dad was brought
to Avery. The care my dad is receiving is wonderful, he repeats all the time that the staff can't do enough for him. Everyone smiles and everyone cares. Thank you to all.

I can't speak highly enough regarding Avery Residential Home. The building is modern, well-maintained and welcoming. Mum has been there almost two years and is very happy and well looked after. The staff are friendly, competent and almost without exception go that extra mile, not only for her but for
relatives too. There is a caring family atmosphere, and I can honestly recommend this care home for any of your loved ones.

My mother has been in The Avery for a couple of months. It is incredibly difficult to place a well-loved family member into the care of others. I have to say we have not been disappointed. The care has been exemplary. The patience demonstrated by all staff has been outstanding. Mum has made great progress
with eating and mobilisation. As family members, we are always greeted in a friendly way and made to feel welcome.
Special thanks to two staff members in particular for going the extra mile today to reunite Mum with a set of dentures.

From our initial telephone enquiry through to Mum moving in was a very positive experience and all of the staff were very professional, helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. We initially booked a guided tour which was very thorough and we were shown round by a member of staff and also an existing resident,
which was a lovely touch. Mum was able to choose her own room from the few available. Mum has settled in nicely and says it’s a lovely place and has not regretted the move there at all. All of Mum's visitors have also commented on how lovely the place is along with all the staff. I personally would recommend this care home to anyone.

The staff on the floor and at reception are without exception all wonderful. They show genuine affection and care for the residents. If I have an issue to raise it would be that my father's room could be cleaner at times, it is quite dusty and surfaces sticky. Having said that my father said to me yesterday,
that even if he won millions on the lottery, there is nowhere he would rather be. I cannot think of a better recommendation than that. He is the person living there and his opinion is most important.

Since Mum has been here she has seemed to have settled really well, staff are so friendly and helpful, food looks great and there are always activities on offer which I think is really good for Mum's wellbeing.

I was the youngest resident at Avery Park despite this I was given exceptional care and was treated with a huge amount of respect by the staff and residents of Avery Park. I was on respite care after a brain operation at the hospital and was feeling very poorly when I got here but I really enjoyed my
stay and do not want to leave!

I would just like to say that a particular member of staff at Avery Park has been an absolute star, she has helped us so much with getting my father into a safe and progressive care home and I will be forever thankful.
He can be a bit of a nightmare but even though he has only been there a small amount
of time he is already improving.
The staff are so polite and helpful, I would fully recommend Avery Park.

Mum has settled very well and is noticeably happier and healthier than she was before she moved in. Almost a surprise to us all as she was keen to stay in her own home and was not expecting to enjoy it here as much as she has. It's now become her home and she is enjoying living here very much.

My grandad is looked after as if he was living with relatives. The staff care for him so well, and we never have any concerns about him being at Avery. All of his needs are met, and we, as a family, are listened to. He is always clean, and we are always kept up to date with what is happening.

My Name Is Leander and I am lucky enough to hold the position of Home Manager at Avery Park. I have been working at Avery Park since November 2021 and am a self-confessed ‘work-acholic’. I pride myself on doing my very best to ensure the safety and happiness of all residents, staff and visitors. Working with the elderly is both rewarding and humbling and I am proud to be part of such an amazing team that all have such great values and ambitions.


My Job is to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the home and that the residents receive outstanding and person-centred care. Caring for and supporting others is not just a job it’s a privilege.

I joined Avery Park in August 2022 as a Senior carer. I was soon promoted to Trainer for the entire home, providing a large portfolio of courses to all the care, housekeeping, kitchen, sales and administration staff.


The training at Avery Park is extensive so I delivered many courses including Health and Safety Awareness, Infection Prevention and Control and Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, to name just a few.


I am NVQ level 3 qualified in adult and social care, I am fully trained in Basic life support and manual handling. I have an I.T. diploma and a business level 2 and I have worked in the care industry for 7 years mainly in senior management roles.


My role as Deputy Manager at Park is to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the home. It is my duty to ensure that each staff member follows current policies and procedures while maintaining person-centred care throughout the home.

I have a degree in History and a Diploma in Marketing and has been with Avery since February 2022. I have had many years of experience in providing excellent customer service in a wide range of industries but I have never been more honoured to provide outstanding customer service to the families of Avery Park.

My name is Rajwinder known as Raj. I am the hotel services manager here at Avery Park Care Home.


I have been employed at Avery Park since the opening day in February 2021. My role is to ensure our home is looking presentable and looking lovely and fresh.


I lead my team by example, ensuring the home is kept to high standards.


We all work together as a big team at Avery Park across all departments, I love working here, getting to meet the amazing individuals that work and reside here, getting to know them and supporting them in their care day to day, is very rewarding.

Hi, my name is Alex and I am the Head Chef here at Avery Park. I started with the company in 2011 and have enjoyed every moment of it. Whilst with the company, I had achieved my level 3 food safety qualification.


I am always aiming for 100% satisfaction for our residents offering them a wide variety of meal choices. The dishes we provide are well-balanced and highly nutritional. I enjoy baking and making birthday cakes for each of our residents, seeing the amazing smiles on their faces is priceless!


Here at Avery Park, we pride ourselves on helping each other to provide the best service that we can. Recently, I took the Mini Bus driving course so I can help with trip-outs for the residents.

My name is Michelle and as of March this year, I am employed at our beautiful home, Avery Park, as a CSA.


Previous to this I was a care assistant for 6 years. I am really enjoying my new role and love meeting and greeting both family and professionals in our home.


I learn something new every day and am growing in confidence all the time.


I support our CSM and administrator with enquiries, show rounds and welcoming visitors, among other tasks. I think that the best part of my job is being able to interact with all our residents, they are wonderful.

Hello, my name is Cameron and I am a chef here at Avery Park care home Kettering. I have been with Avery Healthcare for over 2 years now and started my career in the company as a kitchen assistant and progressed to chef.


I studied catering & hospitality at Tresham College after I finished school at the age of 16 and spent 2 years at college whilst working part-time in a kitchen.


Within my job, I help assist the chefs in preparing and cooking delicious and nutritional meals for our residents to enjoy every day. I also help support other areas of the kitchen when the extra support is needed. I am always curious to learn new ideas and skills every day to progress and help support those around me.

Hello, My name is Shirley and I am the Sous Chef at Avery Park.


I have only been working with the company for 4 months however I fell in love with a job on my first day.
I have 20-plus years of experience in the hospitality industry, owning my own catering business for many of them.


My job is to prepare delicious meals for all the residents to enjoy and to support Alex our head chef as and when needed.


I also give support to all the kitchen staff as part of my role.
