It was a pleasure to have your stepfather join us at Montague House, but I appreciate the decision for him to stay here wasn't your preference due to the travelling distance. I'm sure you understand though that we must respect the wishes of his daughter who wanted him near to her and her siblings so they could regularly visit their father. Our team are committed to delivering exceptional care, and we were delighted to receive positive feedback from his daughter during and after his stay about their many visits and how they found our team loving, kind and supportive. I don't feel it would be appropriate to address comments relating to internal family dynamics but feel it important to confirm that your stepfather safely returned to our home from the hospital as planned and arranged by his daughter. We of course cannot discuss private medical information publicly. I wish I'd had the opportunity to meet you, should you wish to discuss though do get in touch.

My name is Jackie Edwards, and I am currently the Clinical Lead at Montague house. My previous role was inpatient manager at a local prison where I had worked for 18 years. I decided I needed a new challenge that’s when I joined Hamberley Care Homes and came to Montague house. My role includes looking after the clinical side of the home, including the health and welfare of staff and residents. It has been a delightful experience that I thoroughly enjoy.
