My father, who suffers from Alzheimer's recently spent a month at Lace Hill and experienced a really high level of care.
The home is newly constructed and feels more like an upmarket hotel than a traditional care home, with lots of light, bright modern communal spaces, lovely ensuite resident rooms
and lots of thoughtful facilities (think grandchildren's playroom; mini beauty salon etc).
But obviously, you want more than a nice environment when thinking about a care home, and our experience was that all the staff were attentive, warm and fun. There always seemed to be a member of staff with him when we visited (and you can pop in any time, so it's not just for when they are 'on show'!) - doing a jigsaw or just having a chat.
He seemed to benefit greatly from the structure and stimulation - and it was good to see carers encouraging and helping him to walk to the dining room for meals, for example, and not just popping him into a wheelchair for convenience.

My husband has had a month's respite care which has been well managed. He has enjoyed it very much with plenty of the carers taking time to help and engage him in activities. Their patience and attention was second to none. As it is a new care home everything is up to date and arranged with dementia
patients and other residents in mind. I really was grateful for the way my husband improved with the care he received.

I would like to say a huge thank you to the incredible staff at Lace Hill Manor for the exceptional care that my mother received in the short time that she was with them.
Going into a care home was always my mother's worst nightmare - but Lace Hill is more like a 5-star hotel than a care home, and
she was very happy to be there.
Sadly she was very poorly and passed away only a few weeks after moving in - but the care and compassion shown to both my mother and myself, during that very difficult time, by each and every member of their staff was quite exceptional. Myself and my brother will be eternally grateful to all of them for that.


I have no hesitation in recommending Lace Hill Manor to anyone who is making the difficult decision to put a loved one into care- it is quite simply exceptional in every way.

Hi, my name is Timea. I have worked in the healthcare setting for over 20 years. I am a qualified registered nurse with strong clinical and managerial experience. I have commissioned and managed Luxury care homes and have Operations Management experience.


I am enthusiad by working with visionary people and as part of a creative and friendly team. I welcome fresh challenges and have a history of success when presented with them! I have joined Lace Hill Manor in December 2023.
