I waited for this wonderful place to open and moved my mum who has dementia from where she was before. It looks like a boutique hotel with beautiful furnishings, rooms and communal spaces and is light and airy with great outdoor space. Much more importantly the staffing levels appear good and the staff
are uniformly caring and kind, they not only look after Mum wonderfully but also take care of her clothes which were not my previous experience. There is usually something going on to stimulate residents, often joined in by carers too, and Tony who organises the entertainment is excellent. Although I was concerned about the change in ownership and then leadership change when the manager was promoted internally, the new manager (previous deputy) is also excellent. It is not cheap but is well worth it to see Mum cared for so well, this is what my dad would have wanted for her. I sincerely hope that Eden Manor will manage to maintain its thoroughly excellent standards long term.

The wonderful staff and beautiful accommodation of Eden Manor made a difficult period for our family much easier. The decision to move a family member into a care setting is never easy, but we are confident she is now safe in their care and supervision. The setting is by far the best in the area and
facilities are incredible. There aren't even many hotels that can boast the level of comfort, beautiful decor and space provided at Eden Manor, we'd all like to book our own rooms! It all adds up to an incredibly dignified lifestyle for the residents, who enjoy wonderful entertainment, stimulating activities and a welcoming community with dedicated staff.

After looking round a few care homes, we are so pleased we chose Eden Manor Care Home. The staff are absolutely brilliant with the residents and nothing is too much trouble. There is always something to do for everyone and the entertainment is amazing. I would have no problem in recommending Eden Manor
to anyone as the best care home in Carlisle.

Visited Aunt at Eden Manor - she has dementia. All staff were helpful and caring. The facilities are excellent, though mean little without such good staff. Highly recommend.

My personal opinion is the Manor is very good. I have no complaints whatsoever. Everything is very good; kind and caring nurses, lovely food and excellently run by very experienced staff and management.

The staff are so welcoming and friendly. The residents health and well-being are paramount. This is a new experience for me, one that I was unwilling to take on (nobody likes to think of a parent needing more support than they can give), but I needn't have worried. Eden Manor truly is a home from home.
Anyone making the decision that a relative will need 24hr support, need look no further than Eden Manor.

The standard of care at Eden Manor Care Home was excellent. Every member of staff we met on our visit and during my father's stay were friendly, kind and caring. There is nothing I can fault and would like to thank everyone at Eden Manor for taking care and going above and beyond to look after my dad.
The place is warm, homely and immaculate. I would not hesitate to use you again for respite care.

This month we had to make the difficult decision to place my grandmother in to a care home for respite care. We decided that Eden Manor Care Home would be best suited to her - how glad we are with our choice! All staff are exceptionally caring and helpful. Their priority is making sure the residents
are at ease and looked after to a very high standard. The food is excellent, and the regular entertainment puts a smile on everyone's face. Furthermore, visitors are encouraged to join in and get to know all staff and residents. Thank you, team Eden Manor!

On my visit, all staff were lovely, with big smiles, and they always kept those they look after happy and had everything they want/need.
Really enjoyed a sing-a-long when the keyboard was played for us.

What a wonderful care home this is. Nothing, I mean nothing, is too much trouble. From the initial enquiry, meeting the wonderful staff, efficiency and quick arrangements for respite for our mam, we, as a family, are so impressed by the standard of care.
We can't recommend it highly enough. Our Queen
Elizabeth (mam) is 92 years young, has fragility healthcare needs and has been having falls; she had been independent in her own bungalow until recently. The staff at Eden Manor have made her feel so welcome and cared for. We are amazed by this 100% satisfaction standard of care. Please keep up your good work! We, as a family, are so grateful for your help! If we could give you a six-star rating, we would!

My mam moved into Eden Manor on the first day it opened. She had moved from another home and was rather nervous but was immediately greeted and put at ease.
The home is absolutely beautiful, so well designed, and the decoration is five stars. The bedroom is en-suite and has its own patio area. Mam
has settled in so quickly; it is perfect for her. She repeatedly tells me she loves it! I can tell by looking at her how happy she is to be there. How reassuring is that!
I would also like to take the opportunity to praise all the staff for their care and support. They never fail to smile and say hello, and they take the time to ask if everything is okay. They are a true asset.

Job Title: Residents Relations Manager

Joined: 2021

Tony has worked in the care sector for over 30 years in a variety of different roles. Tony's role at Eden Manor is a newly created role, where he will be on hand to ensure our residents are happy and answer any questions they may have.


Tony will be on duty when new admissions come into the home, to ensure they are settled in, and feel safe and content in their new home.


Tony has a passion for care and loves to chat. He has a background in entertainment so you can expect a tune or two along the way!


Tony is around the home and on hand to offer support where needed.
