Job Title: Home Manager
As a Home Manager, my role is to support the team to deliver a high standard of care for residents.
I’m a registered nurse and have experience in management roles. I joined Care UK because its values of caring, passion and teamwork mirrored my own.
In this role, it’s important to have compassion, empathy, enthusiasm and a sense of humour. You also need to be motivated and be a good all-around team player.
I love that every day is different, bringing new challenges and rewards. My favourite part of the day is walking around the home before I leave and seeing the relationships between colleagues and residents.
Seeing colleagues I’ve supported over the years developing and progressing in their careers gives me greater pleasure.
Outside of work, I’m lucky to have a caravan in Anglesey and enjoy spending time there. I like walking in all weathers with my family and dog, and since I began travelling through work.
