Following a complete renovation, White House Care Home opened in November 2022 and offers residential, dementia, nursing and respite care for up to 50 residents on an all-inclusive basis.

As well as delivering high quality, personalised care, White House Care Home is also focused on ensuring residents have a great quality of life. There is plenty on offer, with residents free to engage as much or as little as they wish. From arts & crafts, a hair and beauty salon, a café, a cinema room and regular activities arranged by the activities team, each day is designed to be engaging and enjoyable. For residents who prefer their down time, the spacious and homely en suite bedrooms offer a tranquil and private area and there are also great living areas and courtyard gardens.

For the first time, my mum experienced respite care at White House Care Home and I have been extremely happy with the care and support my mum received. The staff are excellent and listen to requests and personal attention my mum needed. I will not hesitate to use this fantastic care home again.

My mother-in-law moved to White House Care Home last year, she was taken ill just before she moved there and sadly passed away a few weeks after moving in. During her short time there, the staff were amazing and did everything they possibly could to make her comfortable, not only that but they went
out of their way to ensure our family could spend as much time with her and made us all feel welcome including bringing food and drink to us on long visits. All this whilst they were still trying to find their feet in the first few weeks after opening. My wife and her sisters were so grateful for this and how it enabled them to spend as much time as possible with their mum in her final days. Such a pity that she had so little time there as we all know she would have been happy and well looked after.

The care home is beautifully decorated and equipped more like a 4-star hotel. The grounds need some attention but I am sure they will be as beautiful as the home in due course. The care home has only been open for two months and I know there have been teething problems with the staff, all the staff
that I have met have been lovely and I know my mum is in safe, caring hands which is the most important thing of all.

This is the care home that I would choose for myself. Brand new, beautifully refurbished, very clean - it feels like a 5* hotel. There is a great and friendly catering team and a truly amazing care team who look after my Dad wonderfully. Thank you to all at the White House.
