The decision was made for my grandad to have to come into care after having numerous falls at home and being deemed to be unsafe.


When we came into the home it is beautiful and clean and the staff were all lovely. I work in care so I knew what I was looking for and I noticed that he had no falls

equipment in place, I made enquiries with the staff in duty and asked for these things to be put in place due to the number of falls he had had and also because he was a very high falls risk.


Unfortunately these things were not implemented and my grandad had two further falls within the space of an hour which ended up with him being hospitalised. If the correct equipment had been in place these could have been prevented.


I feel that my grandad was let down by the home in this instance as they were aware of the falls before he was admitted to the home and that was why he was coming in.


The staff themselves were lovely and there was one member of staff in particular that was excellent.

My mum has been a resident now for a year. Although she struggled to settle initially due to her Alzheimer's she is now really, really happy, contented, smiley and peaceful. This is, I believe due to the high standard of care and warmth she receives from the wonderful, dedicated staff. Any issues she
has had have been quickly addressed and measures put in place to help resolve them. She is involved regularly in a variety of activities to keep her engaged and occupied which is lovely to see. I couldn't ask for better care for Mum and know she is safe, loved and treasured.

Weavers Court is recently built and designed specifically to cater for elderly residents and best practice in managing their needs. The facilities and amenities are excellent - activity spaces, library, cinema room, hairdresser. The beds are bigger than single, meals served with tablecloths and napkins,
newspapers, fruit and snacks are always available. There is an emphasis on quality of food which I didn't see anywhere else. There is a highly skilled chef with a working kitchen on site where all the meals and cooked and prepared. Roasts, vegetables, gravy, bread, cakes are all home made and thought through in terms of nutritional balance. My mother was struggling with loneliness and isolation before but now she is getting personal attention and care from staff who are cheerful, kind and respectful who encourage her to take part in a varied, lively and inclusive programme of activities. Her well being has improved enormously. The all inclusive pricing makes it easier to budget.

Amazing place! The ethos of excellence and care is evident through everything they do from start to finish. The staff are extremely experienced and knowledgable. Attention to individual needs. Excellent communication with relatives, patient and kind. The whole place is energetic and full of life. Beautiful
surroundings and quality in everything. Nothing is too much trouble. They don't pretend to care-they actually do care. We are so glad we found this place. They have created something uniquely special. My mum loves it.

It is the most difficult task to write a review regarding Weaver's Court Care Home. It is quite natural to seek fault or criticise any area that one is reviewing, however at Weaver's Court this is impossible for the simple reason this care home is really a 10-star retreat reminiscent of a luxury hotel.
It includes the most caring of staff who give their very best. The decor and facilities infuse a luxurious atmosphere providing much more than one could expect.
This care home contains top-class facilities, too numerous to mention. Beautiful laid-out bedrooms, and en-suite bathrooms, all developed with care for the residents. The reception area provides comfort and cleanliness.
The reception staff are so kind, caring and informative and these qualities are reflected throughout when "more than expected" is experienced. It provides the confidence to leave your loved ones in comfort, care and in experts hands. Indeed a happy place, I give Weavers Court the highest marks, ten out of ten.
It is obvious that the design, the layout and the detail have been carefully created to achieve a peaceful, contented and ambient result.

Mixed experience. My mother with dementia was in respite care with a view to finding somewhere permanent.
During her short 2-week stay there were a few concerns about attention to detail when putting the care plan into action e.g. applying cream to dry skin, and always providing a cushion to support
her posture to prevent back pain. However, these were all things that could be improved over time with feedback. I am not sure how well the menu was suited to a vegetarian diet, as unlike the main menu the meals were not as varied or always unprocessed.
My main issue was their policy of not dispensing health supplements, even with a doctor's note and for this reason, I have given an unsatisfactory score to management even though this is their director's policy and not a reflection of the Manager's service which was supportive.
Following her stay we communicated directly with the policy director and referred her to the CQC guidance on this to investigate however they never replied making it unsuitable.

It is unfortunate that you felt that you had to score 2 for the management in regard to the health supplements. As a registered care home, we are heavily regulated and we do have to operate to NICE Social Care Guideline (SC1) Managing Medicines in Care Homes. We would like to reassure you that, our Quality Director did send an email to CQC for advice on this however they did not respond and as we did not hear from you again, we thought that you had found an alternative placement. We wish you and your mum well in finding a different placement.

My dad was at Weaver’s Care home for three months and I visited many times. The facility is beautiful and the atmosphere is lovely. But most importantly, the staff is amazing. They really do care and will go the extra mile to make sure the guests are properly taken care of.

My mum has previously had 4 weeks of respite care in the autumn of 2023. A deterioration in her health has meant that she has now become a permanent resident and is so pleased that she could return to Weavers Court. Her care needs now mean that she requires more support and we are very pleased that
she has the best that we could wish for.
She has already been able to use the hairdressing facilities and enjoyed a special themed evening meal when we were also able to join her.

It's a difficult time when a loved one needs to move into care.
We set out to find a care home that would meet Dad's care needs but at the same time could provide a "2nd home" for us, so we could still be an integral part of Dad's life knowing his care needs were met.

We never envisaged our mum living in a care home, but when we were unable to give Mum the care she needed at home we started our reluctant search. We will forever be thankful we found Weavers Court. I remember the first visit before Mum moved in, heartbreak that we were entering into a new phase of
care for Mum, but relief that we had finally found the right place. I will never forget the kindness one staff member showed that day. Our mum is so well looked after, we cannot thank everyone enough for helping our family. The care is outstanding, it’s not just a care home, it’s our mum’s home and that’s how we feel when we visit. We would like to thank every single person who looks after our mum. You are all amazing, wonderful, kind people and the care you give doesn’t stop at our mum, you care for us all as a family too. We are so happy to have found Weavers Court where Mum is able to convalesce after a long hospital stay as she builds her strength in preparation for getting back to her home. All of the staff have been amazing, so friendly and encouraging as she increases her mobility. As a family we have found a really

We have cared for Mum for 3 years and seen distressing symptoms and the whole family impact. 6 months ago everything seemed to worsen, carers came frequently to the home and Mum was unhappy and agitated.
4 months after coming to Weaver's Court, Mum is worry free - it shows in her face and her appetite!
The
principle of care is that Weaver's Court is home. The standard of care is exceptional. Every physical, social, emotional, psychological, and environmental need is well thought through.
Despite Mum's illness she is thriving and we gratefully respect every single member of staff.

Weavers Court Care Home has given my great-aunt a new lease of life. She is 101 and celebrated her birthday at the home. The staff decorated and arranged alpacas to visit. This is just one example of the love, care and kindness shown on a daily basis. Nothing is too much trouble. Every member of staff
is lovely. The food is delicious and the surroundings are fresh and comfortable.

The move from the West Midlands couldn't have been any better. My mum-in-law has a new lease of life, and I can't praise the staff enough for the care shown to her. When we first looked around Weavers Court for my aunt we couldn't believe the facilities and service they were offering. We were so pleased when she moved in and she has not looked back. She loves all the staff and is always saying 'I can stay here can't I?' All the staff are so caring and very efficient.
It is so clean and welcoming. She couldn't be anywhere better. The food is excellent and they also provide fantastic entertainment for the residents. So glad we chose Weavers Court Care Home.

I love to build good relations with my residents & family members, making a positive difference to the residents’ lives, this gives me great satisfaction.


In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my Grandson & relaxing on holiday in Greece.
